dc.description.abstractEn esta pasantía de investigación se tratará de analizar el contextoen el cual se desarrolló la cofradía del Santísimo Sacramento de Cacota de Suratá,en relación con las políticas de congregación y traslados indígenas. Asimismo, seintentará comprender, como a partir de la ordenación espacial se utilizaron lascofradías como un recurso de control y de continuidad al proyecto evangelizador, alpunto de convertirse en símbolos de resistencia e identidad para los indígenas. Siguiendo esta premisa, el propósito de este proyecto es reconstruir el desarrollohistórico que tuvo esta región antes, durante y después de ser un Pueblo de indios.En primer lugar, se describe las Visitas de 1602 y 1623, para exponer las causasque llevaron a la formación de Cacota de Suratá. Luego, se muestra que ocurriódurante su existencia con la cofradía del Santísimo Sacramento, cuyos registros vande mediados del siglo XVIll y comienzos del XIX. Igualmente, se buscacomplementar esta información con los registros hallados en la cofradía del SantoEcce Homo, la cual comprende los periodos de finales del XVII al XVIII. De estaforma, se busca descubrir cómo se desarrolló este pueblo, desde su formación en1623 hasta su parroquialización en 1778.
dc.description.abstractenglishIn this research internship will try to analyze the context in which the brotherhood ofthe Blessed Sacrament of Cacota de Surata was developed, in relation to thecongregation's policies and indigenous transfers. Likewise, it seeks to understand,as from the spatial planning, the brotherhoods were used as a resource of controland continuity to the evangelizing project, to the point of becoming symbols ofresistance and identity for the naturals. Following this premise, the purpose of this project is to reconstruct the historicaldevelopment that this region had before, during and after being an Indians village.First, he will describe the Visits of 1602 and 1623 to expose the causes that led tothe formation of Cacota de Surata. Then, it will show what happened during itsexistence with the brotherhood of the Blessed Sacrament, whose records go fromthe middle of the 18th century and the beginning of the 19th century. Likewise, itseeks to complement this information with the records found in the brotherhood ofthe Holy Ecce Homo, which includes the periods from the end of the 17th to the 18th.In this way, it seeks to discover how this town developed from its formation in 1623until its parroquialization in 1778.
