dc.description.abstractLa presente investigación se desarrolló con la finalidad de establecer la factibilidad para la creación de una tienda de mascotas en el municipio de San Martín – Cesar, respondiendo a la necesidad de cubrir una demanda en el mercado que se pudo establecer no está siendo satisfecha actualmente en el mencionado municipio. Para el desarrollo del proyecto se realizó un estudio de mercados donde se indago e identifico gustos y preferencias de una muestra de la población objeto del presente estudio, así como determinar la oferta y demanda existente, la estrategia publicitaria adecuada y demás aspectos comerciales que son de utilidad para determinar la viabilidad comercial del proyecto. Adicionalmente, se realizaron los estudios, técnico y administrativo para determinar los requerimientos necesarios para la constitución y puesta en marcha de la tienda de mascotas en el municipio de San Martin – Cesar; así como establecer la capacidad de producción necesaria para cubrir la demanda establecida. También se realizó el estudio y la evaluación financiera en el que se determinó que recursos económicos se requieren para la ejecución del proyecto, así mismo se realizaron las proyecciones correspondientes de costos, gastos, inversiones, ingresos, egresos a un horizonte de cinco años, lo cual indica la viabilidad financiera de la inversión.
dc.description.abstractenglishCONTENT: This research was developed in order to establish the feasibility for the creation of a pet store in the municipality of San Martín – Cesar, responding to the need to meet a demand in the market that could be established is not currently being satisfied in the aforementioned municipality. For the development of the project, a market study was carried out where the tastes and preferences of a sample of the population object of this study were investigated and identified, as well as determining the existing supply and demand, the appropriate advertising strategy and other commercial aspects that are useful to determine the commercial viability of the project. Additionally, technical and administrative studies were carried out to determine the necessary requirements for the constitution and start-up of the pet store in the municipality of San Martin – Cesar; as well as establishing the production capacity necessary to meet the established demand. The study and financial evaluation was also carried out in which it was determined that economic resources are required for the execution of the project, as well as the corresponding projections of costs, expenses, investments, income, expenditures over a five-year horizon, which indicates the financial viability of the investment.
