dc.description.abstractEl presente trabajo tiene como objetivo realizar un estudio de Prefactibilidad de un modelo de negocio de ceba de ganado bovino para la raza Cebú Brahman, en una finca del departamento del Cesar. Inicialmente se realizó un análisis de mercado del sector ganadero tanto en el ámbito nacional como internacional que permitió identificar el nicho de mercado y alcance de la aplicación del proyecto. En dicho análisis se identifican los factores externos e internos mediante un análisis PESTAL y el modelo de las 5 fuerzas de Porter del sector ganadero. Adicionalmente se revisan las estadísticas y datos de FEDEGAN en referencia a la producción y comercialización de la carne en Colombia y el mundo que determina la demanda de este producto, sus precios y los canales de comercialización. Seguidamente se realiza un análisis técnico del sistema productivo para la ceba de ganado cebú Brahman donde se describe el sistema de pastoreo a implementar como mecanismo principal en a la alimentación del animal. El proyecto finaliza con un análisis financiero bajo el cálculo del flujo de caja y la valoración de indicadores de valor presente neto y Tasa interna de retorno que permitió definir la viabilidad del proyecto.
dc.description.abstractenglishThe objective of this work is to carry out a Prefeasibility study of a business model for fattening cattle for the Zebu Brahman breed, on a farm in the department of Cesar. Initially, a market analysis of the livestock sector was carried out both nationally and internationally, which allowed the identification of the market niche and scope of the application of the project. For this analysis, the review of external factors is carried out using the PESTAL method of the livestock sector and an analysis of the internal environment under Porter's Five Forces. Additionally, the statistics and data of FEDEGAN are reviewed in reference to the production and commercialization of meat in Colombia and the world. Next, a technical analysis of the productive system for fattening Zebu Brahman cattle is carried out, where the grazing system to be implemented as the main mechanism in feeding the animal is described. The project ends with a financial analysis under the calculation of the workflow and the assessment of indicators of net present value and internal rate of return that allowed defining the feasibility of the project.
