dc.description.abstractEl siguiente trabajo de grado está orientado al mejoramiento de los procesos de almacenamiento y gestión de inventarios con base en la filosofía Lean Manufacturing. Esta filosofía consiste en la persecución de una mejora simultánea mediante la eliminación del despilfarro, a través de proyectos que cambian la organización física del trabajo en la línea de fabricación, logística y en el control de producción a través de toda la cadena de suministro y en la forma en que se aplica el esfuerzo humano. Este despilfarro se identifica en diferentes tipos: tiempo de espera o tiempo de vacío, transporte o movimientos innecesarios, sobreproceso, stock, defectos o errores generados por los operarios. Este proyecto se lleva a cabo en Pretecor Ltda ya que surge la necesidad de mejorar los procesos de almacenamiento y gestión de inventarios en la planta de Piedecuesta, con el fin de saber el estado de la empresa se realiza un diagnóstico inicial mediante herramientas cualitativas y cuantitativas que permitan identificar los diferentes factores críticos en los procesos mencionados, para ello se hizo necesario el uso de herramientas Lean Manufacturing que facilitan la medición. Una vez identificados estos factores se procede a plantear propuestas de mejora que serán validadas por los directivos de la empresa luego de ser evaluadas y validadas se llevará a cabo la implementación, incluyendo además una serie de recomendaciones y observaciones que permitirán que el proceso de mejoramiento en la gestión de inventarios y almacenamiento continúe y sea permanente.
dc.description.abstractenglishThe following degree project is oriented to improvement of the processes of storage and inventor management in base with the philosophy Lean Manufacturing. This philosophy consists of the pursuit of a simultaneous improvement by means of the elimination of the squandering, across projects that change the physical organization of the work into the line of manufacture, logistics and into the control of production across the whole chain of supply and into the form into that applies the human effort to himself. This squandering is identified by different types: time of wait or of emptiness, transport or unnecessary movements, sobreproceso, stock, faults or mistakes generated by the operatives. (Rajadell Carreras, M & Sánchez García, J. Lean manufacturing: la evidencia de una necesidad, 2010). This project is carried out at Pretecor Ltda Piedecuesta, where the need arises to improve the processes of storage and inventory management. In order to know the condition of the company an initial diagnosis is realized by means of qualitative and quantitative tools that allow to identify the different critical factors in the mentioned processes, for this is essential to use of tools Lean Manufacturing that facilitate the measurement. Once identified these factors, one proceeds to raise offers of improvement that will be validated by the executives of the company after being evaluated and validated the implementation will be carried out, including in addition a series of recommendations and observations that will allow that the process of improvement in the management of inventories and storage should continue and be permanent. 1
