dc.description.abstractEste documento evidencia las actividades realizadas en el desarrollo de la practica empresarial como auxiliar de ingeniería civil en la secretaria de tránsito de Bucaramanga, donde se brindó apoyo en los procesos relacionados al mejoramiento del sistema de señalización vial y semaforización de la red vial en el municipio de Bucaramanga. Las actividades principales se enfocaron en el seguimiento y actualización de la señalización vial, verificación de la normativa vigente relacionada a los SIG y la identificación de puntos críticos de accidentabilidad con el fin de proyectar planes de mejoramiento. En el marco de las actividades asociadas a procesos relacionados con los SIG, se tuvo la oportunidad de utilizar el software QGIS, la implementación de este software se ratifica la importancia del uso de la tecnología para optimizar los procesos relacionados a la actualización, control y seguimiento de los sistemas de señalización y semaforización mediante la georreferenciación de elementos, además, suministrado insumos gráficos sobre la accidentabilidad a través de mapa de calor, Finalmente se exponen los resultados obtenidos con su debida retroalimentación y las conclusiones formuladas a partir del cumplimiento de los objetivos planteados en este trabajo de grado.
dc.description.abstractenglishThis document evidences the activities carried out in the development of the business practice as a civil engineering assistant in the secretary of transit of Bucaramanga, where support was provided in the processes related to the improvement of the system of road signaling and traffic lights of the road network in the municipality of Bucaramanga. The main activities focused on the follow-up and updating of road signs, verification of current regulations related to the SIG and the identification of critical accident points in order to project improvement plans. The implementation of this software ratifies the importance of the use of technology to optimize the processes related to the updating, control and monitoring of signaling and traffic light systems through the georeferencing of elements, in addition, it provided graphic inputs on the accident rate through a heat map. Finally, the results obtained are presented with their due feedback and the conclusions formulated from the fulfillment of the objectives set out in this degree work.
