dc.description.abstractTe deseamos a ti, es una propuesta plástica que surge de la exploración de los archivos de familia de la autora, con un enfoque e interés especial en la celebración de cumpleaños. Utilizando material de piñatería, cortinas decorativas e imágenes dinámicas que emplean la técnica de impresión lenticular, se proponen tres piezas en sala. La obra plástica, inspirada en el momento del canto propio de esta celebración y la práctica afianzada de pedir el deseo, dan cuenta de las reflexiones hechas sobre la fiesta como un hecho social y la familia en un núcleo primario que construye esta narrativa festiva. Estas piezas destacan por su conexión con la canción de cumpleaños, que sirve como elemento distintivo entre estas festividades y otras documentadas en los archivos. El apoyo de textos como Álbum de familia, la imagen de nosotros mismos, del autor Armando Silva y El Cumpleaños: etnografía hermenéutica de una fiesta familiar en Ciudad Guayana, del antropólogo Luis Alberto D’aubeterre, fue fundamental para identificar momentos presentes en estos festejos y categorizar el álbum de familia como un documento de archivo. Esto permitió encontrar en ellos un peso conceptual para abordad el interés principal, siendo la familia un sujeto de vital importancia para esta festividad.
dc.description.abstractenglishTe deseamos a ti, is a plastic proposal that arises from the exploration of the author's family archives, with a special focus and interest in birthday celebrations. Using piñata materials, decorative curtains, and dynamic images employing lenticular printing technique, three pieces are proposed for exhibition. The plastic work, inspired by the singing moment inherent to this celebration and the established practice of making a wish, reflects the reflections made on the party as a social event and the family as the primary nucleus constructing this festive narrative. These pieces stand out for their connection with the birthday song, which serves as a distinctive element between these celebrations and others documented in the archives. The support of texts such as Álbum de familia, la imagen de nosotros mismos, by author Armando Silva and El Cumpleaños: etnografía hermenéutica de una fiesta familiar en Ciudad Guayana, by anthropologist Luis Alberto D’aubeterre, was fundamental to identify moments present in these celebrations and categorize the family album as a document of archive. This allowed finding in them a conceptual weight to address my main interest, with the family being a subject of vital importance for this celebration.
