dc.description.abstractLa presente investigación está fundamentada en la implementación de la estrategia didáctica de Aprendizaje Basado en Investigación (ABI) con el objetivo de fortalecer las competencias de pensamiento científico en los estudiantes de grado 11° del Instituto San José de la Salle de Bucaramanga; transformando la práctica pedagógica gracias a la articulación de la estrategia con el componente Ciencia, Tecnología y Sociedad (CTS), el cual permitió que los estudiantes integraran contexto escolar con el proceso de intervención. La metodología de investigación es de carácter cualitativa bajo un enfoque de investigación acción, comprendida en tres fases: el diagnóstico, el diseño e implementación y la evaluación, las cuales retroalimentan el proceso investigativo en la medida en que se ejecuta. El diagnóstico permite conocer el nivel de desarrollo en las competencias de pensamiento científico que poseen los estudiantes y a partir de estos resultados se diseña e implementa la unidad didáctica desde la estrategia ABI y el enfoque CTS; finalmente, se evalúa el proceso de intervención, el cual con los resultados obtenidos demuestra la efectividad de la estrategia didáctica implementada, los avances de la población intervenida respecto a las competencias de pensamiento científico y el impacto positivo en la institución educativa.
dc.description.abstractenglishThis research is based on the implementation of the didactic strategy of Learning based in investigation (ABI) with the purpose of strengthening the scientific thinking skills in students of the 11th grade of the San José de la Salle Institute in Bucaramanga; transforming the pedagogical practice thanks to the articulation of the strategy with the component Science, Technology and Society (CTS), which allowed the students to integrate the school context with the intervention process. The research methodology is of a qualitative analysis with a purpose of investigation action, comprised in three phases: diagnosis, design and implementation and evaluation, which feed back the investigative process to the extent that it is executed. The diagnosis allows to know the level of development in the scientific thinking competences that the students possess and from these results is designed and implemented the didactic unit from the ABI strategy and the CTS approach. Finally, the intervention process is evaluated, which, with the results obtained, demonstrates the effectiveness of the didactic strategy implemented, the advances of the population intervened with respect to scientific thinking skills and the positive impact on the educational institution.
