dc.description.abstractEl presente trabajo es el resultado de un análisis sistémico al sector de las pequeñas y medianas empresas metalmecánicas existentes en nuestro país y su comportamiento a lo largo de catorce años como un sector al que, normalmente, se le atribuye un gran peso y poder de jalonamiento económico. Para esto, se ha trabajado como marco de referencia los diferentes aportes que autores reconocidos han hecho en cuanto al tema, el cual nos ofrece el andamiaje teórico necesario para lograr un análisis de la situación real de la unidades productivas objeto de estudio. Según dicho análisis, las PyMEs estudiadas no han tenido mejoras drásticas durante el periodo de referencia con respecto a sus variables de competitividad sistémica, como resultado de la falt esarias para su fortalecimiento y completo desarrollo. Dentro de los problemas que se presentan en estas unidades de producción están: la limitada capacidad gerencial, la obsolescencia tecnológica, la deficiente stión de calidad, los deficientes canales de información y la apatía de sus dirigentes por las entidades de apoyo, entre otros. Ello lleva a proponer la aplicación de políticas selectivas con impacto macro, meso, micro y metaeconómico que propicien un mayor crecimiento del producto total de estas empresas. Para tal propósito este trabajo cuenta con los siguientes cinco apartados: El primer capítulo consigna el marco teórico. El segundo capítulo consigna la definición legal de una PyME y sus características básicas, así como la reseña histórica desde principios del siglo XX del sector. Posteri rmente, se elabora un análisis sistémico al sector. En un cuarto capítulo se c propuestas que entidades oficiales y académicas han diseñado al respecto.
dc.description.abstractenglishThis work is the result from a systemic analysis to the sector of the small and medium metalmechanics companies existent in our country and its behavior along fourteen years like a sector to the one that usually, it is attributed a great weight and power of economic strength. For this it has been worked as reference mark the different contributions that grateful authors have made as for the topic, which offers us the necessary theoretical scaffolding to achieve an analysis of the real situation of the units productive study object. According to this analysis, the studied PYMES has not had drastic improvements during the period of reference with regard to their variables of systemic competitiveness, as a result of the lack of necessary conditions for their invigoration and I complete development. Inside the problems that are presented in these production units they are: the limited managerial capacity, the techonological obsolescence, the faulty administration of quality, the faulty channels of information and the apathy of their leaders for the support entities, among others. This takes to propose the application of political selective with impact, macro, meso micro and metaeconomic that propitiate bigger growth of the total product of these companies. For such a purpose this work has the following five chapters: the first item it contains a theoretical mark, the second item watchword the legal definition of de PyMEs an their basic characteristics, as well as the historical rewied from principles of the XX century of sector, later on of it elaborates a systemic analysis to the sector, in a four item they are consigned the proposals that official and academic entities have designed in this respect. For I finish, in the item five, the main derived conclusions of the different carried out analyses are exposed, as well as the recommendations to the sector.
