dc.description.abstractenglish | The knowledge of the geological and geophysical characteristics found in the underground, as well as their correlation, is a subject interest in many research areas, for this reason it is very useful to select the available information, structure it and turn it into a model that shows the spatial distribution of its components. Quaternary deposits that belong to the Bucaramanga Formation emerge in the northern sector of Bucaramanga, Colombia, which is mainly composed of gravels with a sandy matrix (Ggc) and slightly gravelly sands (Sg). In this project, a geologicalgeophysical model is built from lithological descriptions of cores, textural parameters, and electrical resistivity tomographies, making use of threedimensional modeling software in conjunction with a respective geological analysis of the results found. Twelve (12) facies were identified for the members of the Bucaramanga Formation, which were grouped into four (4) facial associations. Structurally we find an area largely affected by faults, which produces a fracturing in the rocks of the quaternary deposits and of the underlying geological formations, this is reflected in the high values of resistivities (~ 900 ohmm) that are obtained in the immediate areas of the fault planes. On the other hand, the creation of space caused by these fractures allows the accumulation of water bodies, forming highly saturated rocks identified as low resistivity values (~ 15 ohmm). The evaluation of the resistivities was made by interpolating the data obtained in the tomographies together with a representation of isovalues that allowed to see the concentration of the different ranges of resistivities. To integrate the results obtained, a correlation of the probable resistivity values that can be found in each facial association is made. The description was organized in tables and the study area was divided into nine (9) sectors due to the change in geological conditions that exist throughout the area, then the geologic model was made from the geologicalgeophysical correlation
