dc.description.abstractEl objetivo principal es exponer desde la filosofía de Platón la utilidadde la música para la educación y la política de la polis, en tanto que, la música en su carácter pedagógicoafecta el ánimo en la mente humanay fortalece la virtud a través de la correcta imitación o mímesis. Por tanto, se precisa identificar la relación mimética que se establece entre música y el discurso poético, como punto de partida para la construcción de un Estado Ideal, pues la querella contra la poesía exige dar cuenta de su discurso para confrontar lo útil de la relación artística y política desde un plano educativo. Sin exagerar, sostenemos en la presente investigación que la educación constituye el punto de encuentro, de la siempre difícil relación existente entre la música como arte y la filosofía como método investigativo para la configuración de una teoría política. En un primer momento,se exploraráparte del acontecimiento musical y la incidencia de la filosofía en la músicaque precede a Platón, esto con el fin de mostrar la compresión de la mímesis por parte de la poesía en la fabricación del discurso poético y la música como imitación, al tiempo que intentamos acceder al conocimiento de lo perjudicial del discurso artísticoen su efecto individual y colectivo.Posteriormente, desde la conceptualización filosófica de la música y la poesía en Platón, se expondrá su utilidad en la educación y la política para el autogobierno del alma y la armonía la polis.
dc.description.abstractenglishThe main objective is to expose from the philosophy of Plato the usefulness of music for education and politics of the polis, while, music in its pedagogical character affects the mood in the human mind and strengthens virtue through the correct imitation or mimesis. Therefore, it is necessary to identify the mimetic relationship that is established between music and poetic discourse, as a starting point for the construction of an Ideal State, since the quarrel against poetry requires giving an account of his discourse in order to confront the usefulness of the relationship artistic and political from an educational level. Without exaggeration, we argue in this research that education is the meeting point, the always difficult relationship between music as art and philosophy as a research method for the configuration of a political theory. At first, part of the musical event and the incidence of philosophy in the music that precedes Plato will be explored, this in order to show the understanding of mimesis by poetry in the making of poetic discourse and music as an imitation, at the same time that we try to access knowledge of the detriment of artistic discourse in its individual and collective effect. Subsequently, from the philosophical conceptualization of music and poetry in Plato, will be exposed its usefulness in education and politics for the self-government of the soul and harmony the polis
