dc.description.abstractEsta investigación está orientada por la pregunta rectora: ¿Cuál es el rol que la filosofía y el filósofo, desde su labor como intelectual, deben cumplir en tiempos contemporáneos, desde la perspectiva habermasiana? Se pretende entonces, determinar cuál es el rol que deben cumplir la filosofía y el filósofo en tiempos contemporáneos, e identificar la distinción entre filósofo e intelectual. En el primer capítulo se reconstruirá la perspectiva de Habermas, identificando los cambios estructurales y el posicionamiento de las ciencias experimentales. De acuerdo a ello, se analizará el nuevo contexto sobre el que la filosofía ejercerá su labor. En el segundo acápite, se pretende la identificación y análisis del nuevo rol que la filosofía y el filósofo, deben asumir en tiempos contemporáneos, como: vigilante e intérprete. Y, como último capítulo, se identificará la distinción entre filósofo e intelectual. El sustento teórico está delimitado en las obras de Jürgen Habermas: Perfiles filosófico Œ políticos, Conciencia moral y acción comunicativa, Pensamiento postmetafísico, y Entre naturalismo y religión.
