dc.description.abstractEste trabajo aborda la respuesta estatal ante la creciente demanda de vivienda durante la década de los años sesenta en Bucaramanga. Para ello se centra en identificar el papel desenvuelto por el Instituto de Crédito Territorial como la principal institución estatal encargada de solucionar el problema de la vivienda a nivel nacional. Entendiendo la vivienda como producto social y por tanto como el resultado de la voluntad de múltiples actores, el abordaje de la vivienda se establece desde una arista sociocultural y se desarrolla a partir de la identificación de tres actores involucrados en la construcción de habitaciones. Tales actores son el Estado el sector Privado y la Comunidad Barrial. Tomando como fuente primaria la prensa, el trabajo describe y analiza las diferentes respuestas que se emplearon en diversos barrios de Bucaramanga, así como el accionar heterogéneo de los actores mencionados anteriormente. Además, se encuentra una clara diferenciación en las características de las viviendas y de las urbanizaciones a partir de la orientación económica de los adjudicatarios. Adicionalmente, el trabajo identifica tres barrios en los que el Estado representado por el Instituto de Crédito Territorial actuó de manera distinta con el propósito de analizarlos de manera comparada encontrando semejanzas y diferencias.
dc.description.abstractenglishThis work addresses the state response in the face of increasing demand for housing durung the 60´s decade in Bucaramanga. To this end, it is focusing on identifies the rol of the Credit Territotial Institute as the principal statal institute in charge to solve the housing problema at National level. Underestanding that housing is a social product and the results of multistakeholder, the housing inssue adrdressed socialcultural perspective and developed as the identification of the three actors involved in the house building. These key participants are the State, the private sector and the neighbourhood community. Taking the daily newspaper as its source, this work describes and analysed the different responses given in the neighbourhoods of Bucaramanga, as well as the heterogeneous actuate above mentioned. Besides, its found a cleare differents between the characteristics of housing and urbanization as of the economic orientation of the tender. Additionally, this work identifies three neighbourhoods in which the state represented by the Credit Territotial Institute acted differently, in order to analyze them in a comparative way, finding similarites and differences.
