dc.description.abstract	Con el fin de cumplir con el objetivo de desarrollo sostenible es importante llevar a cabo la descarbonización del sistema eléctrico, la cual se logra a través de la integración de energía renovable que se caracteriza por su variabilidad e intermitencia, lo que la hace difícil de integrar en el sistema actual. Esto ha llevado al diseño de instrumentos financieros que son utilizados en el mercado secundario, los cuales buscan cubrir el riesgo, asociados a la volatilidad de los precios de la energía que con la integración de renovables tiende a aumentar. En este contexto fue necesario conocer como la utilización de estos instrumentos de cobertura benefician a los generadores y consumidores del mercado eléctrico cuando existe una alta integración de energía renovable en el sistema. En este trabajo se logró como resultado analizar los instrumentos financieros que promueven la integración de energía renovable en los sistemas de potencia; para ello, como primer logro parcial se identificaron instrumentos financieros usados en los mercados eléctricos evidenciando que en la actividad competitiva de los mercados eléctricos es la existencia de un mercado mayorista organizado de energía eléctrica; como segundo logró se consolidó la explicación del efecto que tiene cada instrumento financiero en un sistema de potencia con alta integración de energía renovable como lo son los instrumentos para la reducción de emisiones, los Feed – in Tariff – FIT, las cuotas las cuales consisten en establecer pagos para la participación de energía renovable, ya sea en términos relativos o como metas específicas de capacidad instalad, las subastas, los instrumentos operativos y los instrumentos fiscales que son hoy en día los más generalizados para promover las energías renovables y son generalmente combinados con otros como los FIT y un tercer logro fue la caracterizaron los instrumentos financieros según el beneficio que representan para la integración de energía renovable en los sistemas de potencia en los cuales se pudo concluir que hay variedad de oferta y demanda de energía eléctrica entre países.
dc.description.abstractenglish	To meet the objective of sustainable development, it is important to carry out the decarbonization of the electrical system, which is achieved through the integration of renewable energy that is characterized by its variability and intermittence, which makes it difficult to integrate. in the current system. This has led to the design of financial instruments that are used in the secondary market, which seek to cover the risk associated with the volatility of energy prices, which tends to increase with the integration of renewables. In this context, it was necessary to know how the use of these hedging instruments benefit the generators and consumers of the electricity market when there is a high integration of renewable energy in the system. The result of this work was to analyze the financial instruments that promote the integration of renewable energy in power systems; For this, as a first partial achievement, financial instruments used in the electricity markets were identified, evidencing that in the competitive activity of the electricity markets is the existence of an organized wholesale market of electricity; As a second, it was possible to consolidate the explanation of the effect that each financial instrument has on a power system with a high integration of renewable energy, such as the instruments for the reduction of emissions, the Feed - in Tariff - FIT, the quotas which consist of establish payments for the participation of renewable energy, either in relative terms or as specific goals of installed capacity, auctions, operational instruments and fiscal instruments that are today the most generalized to promote renewable energies and are generally combined with others such as the FITs and a third achievement was the characterization of the financial instruments according to the benefit they represent for the integration of renewable energy in the power systems in which it was possible to conclude that there is a variety of supply and demand for electrical energy between countries.
