dc.description.abstractLa Empresa de Servicios Públicos de Málaga (E.S.P.M), proporciona el servicio de acueducto al municipio de Málaga, Santander, el cual se compone de la distribución del agua para el consumo humano a través de la conducción, almacenamiento, distribución, operación y mantenimiento de sus redes, sumado el análisis físico, químico y microbiológico del agua. Se ha observado en algunos análisis hechos al agua, que durante la operación de la planta la calidad del agua saliente de la PTAP sobrepasa el valor óptimo del IRCA, sobre todo en las épocas de altas lluvias donde el agua aumenta su nivel de turbiedad y arrastre de material particulado aumentando la cantidad de sustancias no aptas para el consumo. Aspecto por el cual se generaron intereses y es por ello que la práctica empresarial se enfoca en evaluar, analizar y proponer acciones de mejora en la planta de tratamiento de agua potable del municipio de Málaga. Mediante el análisis de la información e inspecciones realizadas en la planta de tratamiento de agua potable, y mediante el diagnóstico del estado actual de la planta se determinaron aspectos técnicos operativos, como fueron los irregulares tiempos de limpieza en cada una de las áreas, el aumento de la turbiedad y el arrastre de material en el agua saliente. Todo lo anterior, motivo a generar alternativas de mejoras, diseñando el área de floculación para mejorar la calidad del agua potable para los usuarios de Málaga Santander como también el ajuste de los tiempos de lavado de las diferentes partes involucradas en el tratamiento del agua. La información obtenida, se recopilo siguiendo el recorrido del agua en la planta, mediante la observación subjetiva del funcionamiento de las unidades de tratamiento junto con la colaboración del personal a cargo, llegando a la conclusión después de una rigurosa inspección que la PTAP cumple con los parámetros exigidos, aunque requiere de una modernización a las instalaciones para agregar los procesos faltantes y así obtener la mejor calidad en el servicio prestado y cumplir a cabalidad con la normativa para este tipo de procesos. 1
dc.description.abstractenglishThe Public Utility Company of Malaga (ESPM), provides the aqueduct service to the municipality of Malaga, Santander, which is composed of the distribution of water for human consumption through the conduction, storage, distribution, operation and maintenance of its networks, added the physical, chemical and microbiological analysis of water. It has been observed in some analyzes made to the water, that during the operation of the plant the quality of the outgoing water of the PTAP exceeds the optimal value of the IRCA, especially in times of high rainfall where the water increases its level of turbidity and drag of particulate material increasing the amount of substances unfit for consumption. Aspect for which interest was generated and that is why business practice focuses on evaluating, analyzing and proposing improvement actions in the drinking water treatment plant of the municipality of Malaga. Through the analysis of the information and inspections carried out in the drinking water treatment plant, and through the diagnosis of the current state of the plant, technical and operational aspects were determined, such as the irregular cleaning times in each of the areas, the increased turbidity and the drag of material in the outgoing water. All of the above, reason for generating alternatives for improvements, designing the flocculation area to improve the quality of drinking water for Malaga Santander users as well as adjusting the washing times of the different parties involved in water treatment. The information obtained was collected following the path of the water in the plant, through the subjective observation of the operation of the treatment units together with the collaboration of the personnel in charge, reaching the conclusion after a rigorous inspection that the PTAP complies with the required parameters, although it requires a modernization to the facilities to add the missing processes and thus obtain the best quality in the service provided and fully comply with the regulations for this type of processes. 1
