dc.description.abstractEste trabajo tiene como objetivo general analizar la configuración identitaria del actor discursivo sacerdote en el discurso Manual del párroco, libro impreso en Colombia en 1870. Dicho texto se aborda desde los aportes de la semiótica greimasiana, orientados metodológicamente por el recorrido generativo-interpretativo, y la propuesta de Jacques Fontanille de tener en cuenta los niveles de pertinencia analítica del significante. De esta forma, se explora el Manual como objeto semiótico, particularmente a través de sus características como objeto soporte y texto-enunciado, se indaga por el ethos sacerdotal mediante la exploración figurativa y narrativa, se estudian los recorridos del antisujeto discursivo y se relaciona la figura del párroco con la cultura Colombiana de finales del siglo XIX. La investigación concluye que, frente a la forma de vida única defendida en el Manual, el clero aparece como un grupo social poco homogéneo, con rupturas ideológicas y problemas disciplinarios. Igualmente, relaciona el discurso tradicionalista de la Iglesia católica con un una estética de la vida cotidiana que resalta los aspectos expresivos en la configuración identitaria del cura y la relación con prácticas burguesas como la urbanidad y los buenos modales. Por último, se indaga sobre la relación entre el texto tratado, la forma de vida sacerdotal predicada en el texto y el proyecto político de la Regeneración.
dc.description.abstractenglishThis paper has as general objective to analyze the establishment of identity of the discursive actor priest in the discourse Manual del párroco, a book published in Colombia in 1870. This text is approached from the contributions of Greimasian semiotics, methodologically oriented by the generative - interpretive route, and the Jacques Fontanille´s proposal to take into account the levels of analytical relevance of the significant. In this way, we explore the Handbook as a semiotic object, particularly through its features as the object support and text-enunciated, is investigated by the priestly ethos by exploring the figurative and narrative, we study the travels of the discursive antisubject and it relates the figure of the priest with the Colombian culture of the late nineteenth century. The research concludes that, given the unique lifestyle advocated in the Manual, the clergy appears as a very homogenous social group, with ideological breaks and disciplinary problems. Also, it relates the traditionalist discourse of the Catholic Church with aesthetics of everyday life that emphasizes the expressive aspects in shaping the identity of the priest and the practices regarding bourgeois as civility and good manners.
