Clasificación de sistemas de producción agropecuarios en la cuenca del río Chucurí, municipio de Betulia Santander, mediante métodos estadísticos multivariados

dc.description.abstractEl objeto del presente trabajo fue identificar una clasificación de los sistemas de producción agropecuarios a partir del uso de herramientas estadísticas multivariadas en la cuenca del río Chucurí en las veredas de Sogamoso, Peña Morada, San Mateo y la Armenia ubicadas en el municipio de Betulia, Santander, Colombia. Por medio de un análisis de componentes principales (CP) y posterior análisis de conglomerados (AC) se logró tipificar 106 sistemas productivos que se encuentran en área de estudio. El análisis identificó cinco tipologías de sistemas de producción bien diferenciada entre sí y caracterizada fundamentalmente por el área total, el área agrícola, el área pecuaria, la oferta en mano de obra, la incidencia en enfermedades, las características de los cultivos de cacao y la producción de los sistemas productivos. Los cinco tipos de sistemas de producción encontrados arrojaron que todos poseen la agricultura como rubro principal de producción, aunque los sistemas tipo uno, tres y cuatro, presentan un área significativa dedicada a las actividades ganaderas. El sistema productivo tipo cinco es el que mayor área de bosques posee y el sistema tipo dos es el menor tamaño. El cultivo del cacao es el principal sistema productivo de la zona; y la variedad de cacao híbrido es la de mayor representatividad en todos los tipos de sistemas encontrados. También se evidenció que los sistemas tipo cinco es en donde los convenios de compañía en la administración del predio representa la forma predominante de contratación de mano de obra, seguido de los sistemas Tipo tres donde también se presenta esta forma de arreglo. Los sistemas de producción del Tipo dos y cuatro son administrados exclusivamente por sus dueños, al igual que un porcentaje significativo de los sistemas Tipo uno.
dc.description.abstractenglishThe goal of this work was to identify the classification of the agricultural production systems in the basin of the Chucurí river using multi-variable statistics tools. It was developed in the Sogamoso, Peña Morada, San Mateo and the Armenia rural districts located in the municipality of Betulia, Santander, Colombia. Through the initial analysis of Main Components (MC) and later Analysis of Conglomerates (AC) 106 production systems were typified within the study area. The analysis identified five types of well differentiated types of production systems and characterized mainly by the total area, agricultural area, livestock area, man-power offer, illness affectation, characteristics of the cacao growing areas and the production of the productive systems. The five production systems types found gave as a common feature the agriculture as a main production item though the system types one, three and four show a significant area dedicated to cattle activities. The production system type five is the one with more forest areas and the type two is the smallest. Cacao crops is the main productive system in the region and the variety of hybrid cacao is the most representative in all of the found types of productive systems. It was also evident that type five systems are where the company agreements in the administration of the property represent the predominant form of labor contracting, followed by Type Three systems where this form of arrangement is also presented. Type two and four production systems are managed exclusively by their owners, as is a significant percentage of Type One systems.
