dc.description.abstractEste trabajo de investigación ejecutado en modalidad de pasantía con el grupo de investigación “Historia, Archivística y Redes de Investigación” HARED y el “Archivo Oral de Memoria de las Victimas” AMOVI, abarcará la historia de las artes plásticas y visuales en Bucaramanga a partir de las mujeres artistas que participaron en las exposiciones locales y contribuyeron con sus obras buscando ser reconocidas y validadas por estos medios, encontrándose ausentes en una historia mayormente biográfica que ha resaltado el trabajo de los hombres y la generación de maestros, desplazándolas de este discurso. Así, se busca con este trabajo reiterar la participación de estas mujeres artistas, la naturaleza de sus obras y su importancia dentro de esta historia de elaboración reciente, que indudablemente encontrará beneficios en sus futuras investigaciones al incluir a las mujeres artistas dentro de una historia del arte local. Todo esto será logrado a través del uso del archivo Carlos Prada Hernández (que luego de la recolección de la información para este trabajo fue integralmente donado a AMOVI por el maestro), el cual contiene información exclusiva acerca de las exposiciones y la escena artística bumanguesa. También se realizaron consultas de prensa y entrevistas a artistas vigentes que busquen la preservación de su experiencia para la consolidación de una generación de destacadas mujeres artistas.
dc.description.abstractenglishThis research work carried out as an internship for the History, Archival, and Research Networks, HARED research group and Oral Archive of Memory of the Victims AMOVI, will cover the history of plastic and visual arts in Bucaramanga from women artists, who participated in local exhibitions and contributed their works seeking to be recognized, and validated by these means, being absent in a mostly biographical history that has highlighted the work of men and the generation of masters, displacing them from this discourse. Thus, this work seeks to reiterate the participation of these women artists, the nature of their works and their importance within this history of recent elaboration, which will undoubtedly find benefits in their future research by including women artists within a history of the local art. All of this will be achieved using the Carlos Prada Hernández archive, which contains exclusive information about the exhibitions and the local art scene, as well as press consultation and interviews with current artists who seek to preserve their experience for the consolidation of a generation of prominent women artists.
