dc.description.abstractLa compensación volumétrica por cantidad – CVC es un proceso fundamental para los remitentes que movilizan hidrocarburos por Oleoductos, ya que con este reporte se materializan los volúmenes que se ganan o se pierden por efectos de cambios de calidad entre el punto de entrada y salida de los Oleoductos del país. Actualmente algunos contratos solicitan la generación de CVC y otros no, por lo que en Ecopetrol se dispone de un equipo de trabajo que represente a Ecopetrol como remitente en el transporte de hidrocarburos y genere la revisión y aprobación de CVC´s, dicho equipo está ubicado en la Gerencia de Planeación Operativa. Este documento permite dar una introducción a la CVC del Oleoducto del Alto Magdalena – OAM actualmente operado por la empresa Hocol, en el cual Ecopetrol moviliza cerca de un 50% de propiedad y cuyo objetivo principal es garantizar el suministro de crudo mezcla a la Refinería de Barrancabermeja. Finalmente, es importante saber revisar la CVC del OAM para poder proponer mejoras en la calidad de la Refinería y optimizar los volúmenes de compensación, aportada por crudos pesados que entran al sistema.

This document allows to give an introduction to the CVC of the Alto Magdalena Pipeline - OAM currently operated by the Hocol company, in which Ecopetrol mobilizes about 50% ownership and whose main objective is to guarantee the supply of crude oil to the Refinery of Barrancabermeja Finally, it is important to know how to review the CVC of the OAM in order to propose improvements in the quality of the Refinery and optimize the volumes of compensation, contributed by heavy crudes that enter the system.
