dc.description.abstract	Descripción: El presente proyecto de investigación, se adelanta en el municipio de Cerrito Santander, con el objetivo de consultar y plantear una propuesta que permita, la reducción de la presencia de la mosca de la fruta en el cultivo del durazno. El cultivo de durazno se encuentra, en una gran diversidad de climas, desde cálidos, hasta altas y bajas temperaturas, sobre el nivel del mar, lo que de algún modo permite, que en algunos casos se vuelva más susceptible a la presencia de algunas plagas como la mosca de la fruta y algunas enfermedades. Además, el durazno es una fruta que aporta fibra a quienes consumen este tipo de productos, y es por ello que tiene una gran demanda en todo el país, según el Instituto Colombiano Agropecuario (ICA), La oferta de esta fruta también es notoria, los departamentos de mayor concentración son Norte de Santander, Boyacá y Santander, reportándose 2.131 hectáreas en el cultivo de durazno, representados en el 71.9 % del área nacional. De tal modo, se hizo una revisión literaria empleando las fuentes primarias para la consulta de todo lo relacionado con el control de la mosca de la fruta en el cultivo de durazno, la cual permitió identificar varios aspectos importantes que se aplican mediante el control biológico, cultural, mecánico y químico, este último siendo el de mayor uso por los productores de esta fruta, por la rapidez y eficiencia que tiene al actuar dentro del cultivo. Por otra parte en aras de contribuir con el cuidado del medio ambiente y garantizar una fruta saludable a los consumidores, se planteó una alternativa de un control biológico, la cual consiste en colocar un cultivo de Albahaca (Ocimum basilicum) adicional alrededor del árbol de durazno sembrada en forma circular en la gotera del árbol, teniendo en cuenta que esta planta tiene compuestos repelentes y aromáticos, que ahuyentan la mosca que causa el daño en el fruto .
dc.description.abstractenglish	Description: This research project was carried out in the municipality of Cerrito Santander, with the objective of consulting and proposing a way to reduce the presence of the fruit fly in the peach crop. The peach crop is found in a great diversity of climates, from warm to high and low temperatures above sea level, which in some cases makes it more susceptible to the presence of some pests such as fruit flies and diseases. In addition, the peach is a fruit that provides fiber to those who consume this type of product and that are why it is in great demand throughout the country, according to the Colombian Agricultural Institute (ICA). The supply of this form is also notorious since the departments with the highest concentration are Norte de Santander, Boyacá and Santander, reporting 2,131 hectares under peach cultivation, representing 71.9% of the national area. Thus, a literature review was made using primary sources for the consultation of everything related to the control of the fruit fly in the peach crop, which allowed identifying several important aspects that are applied through biological, cultural, mechanical and chemical control, the latter being the most widely used by producers of this fruit because of the speed and efficiency it has when acting within the crop. On the other hand, in order to contribute to the care of the environment, an alternative of biological control was proposed, which consisted of placing basil branches in the middle of each tree, Since this aromatic plant has repellent components for insects that cause some kind of damage and which was of great relevance since the presence of the fruit fly was reduced, avoiding damage to the fruit and in which it can be said that it is a very good way to use but in large volumes of bunches of basil, so that the incidence of pests is much lower.
