dc.description.abstractEl presente trabajo de grado aparece como una necesidad en el campo petrolero cantagallo propiedad de ECOPETROL S.A. localizado en el municipio de puerto Wilches, ante la ocurrencia de cortocircuitos en las secciones denominadas líneas Búfalos-Yariguies a 34,5 kV, la operación y desconexión no parece la adecuada. Se necesita replantear la coordinación de protecciones de sobrecorriente y para replantearla se identifica el sistema a estudiar con sus equipos asociados, se realizan los estudios previos (flujo de carga y cortocircuito), estos estudios con el fin de obtener las corrientes máximas de carga, máximas y mínimas de cortocircuito vistas por los relés de protección de fases y de tierra. Seguido de los estudios previos se procede a realizar la coordinación de protecciones de sobrecorriente, esto es, a determinar las corrientes de arranque, el dial y la unidad instantánea de los relés de protección de fases y de tierra, tanto los estudios previos y la coordinación son realizados para los dos modos de operación del sistema a estudiar en concordancia con la dirección de la corriente, alimentando a
dc.description.abstractenglishThis degree work appears as a necessity in the Cantagallo oil field owned by ECOPETROL S.A. located in the municipality of Puerto Wilches, due to the occurrence of short circuits in the sections called Buffalo-Yariguies lines at 34.5 kV, the operation and disconnection does not seem appropriate. It is necessary to rethink the coordination of overcurrent protections and to rethink it, the system to be studied with its associated equipment is identified, previous studies (load flow and short circuit) are carried out, these studies in order to obtain the maximum, maximum load currents and minimum short circuits seen by the phase and ground protection relays. Following the previous studies, the coordination of overcurrent protections is carried out, that is, to determine the starting currents, the dial and the instantaneous unit of the phase and ground protection relays, both the previous studies and the coordination they are carried out for the two modes of operation of the system to be studied in accordance with the direction of the current, feeding through switch C15 or C2. Finally, the selectivity of the selectivity curves of the phase protection relays is checked and ground, with the proposed adjustments.
