dc.description.abstractEn el presente informe se podrá evidenciar la naturaleza, historia y pilares fundamentales de La Previsora S.A. Compañía de Seguros, los objetivos que se esperaban cumplir dando apoyo al área de indemnizaciones, una breve explicación de la oficina de indemnizaciones y una serie de funciones desarrolladas durante el periodo de prácticas. Se presenta un apartado respecto al mercado asegurador que incluye la incidencia de la crisis provocada por COVID-19 en cuanto al recaudo de primas y nuevos retos para las compañías del sector, junto con cifras que permiten observar niveles de siniestralidad y recaudo de primas tanto emitidas como retenidas. Así mismo, un comparativo de 25 compañías con respecto a las cifras ya mencionadas. Para finalizar, se incluye una sección de aportes en relación a las funciones desempeñadas en el área y resultados estadísticos en cuanto a siniestralidad y recaudo de la sucursal, para lo anterior se muestran gráficas comparativas del año 2022 para el periodo de enero a octubre en los ramos en los que presentan mayores ventas, así como también se incluye una sección en la que se expresa la carencia de puede llegar a tener el cargo desempeñado en la sucursal Bucaramanga y la importancia de llevar control de las reclamaciones.
dc.description.abstractenglishThis report will show the nature, history and fundamental pillars of La Previsora S.A. Compañía de Seguros, the objectives that were expected to be achieved by supporting the claims area, a brief explanation of the claims office and a series of functions developed during the internship period. A section on the insurance market is presented, including the impact of the crisis caused by COVID-19 in terms of premium collection and new challenges for the companies in the sector, together with figures that show the levels of claims and collection of both written and retained premiums. Also, a comparison of 25 companies with respect to the aforementioned figures. Finally, a section of contributions is included in relation to the functions performed in the area and statistical results in terms of claims and collection of the branch, for which comparative graphs are shown for the year 2022 for the period from January to October in the branches in which they have higher sales, as well as a section in which the lack of the position held in the Bucaramanga branch and the importance of keeping control of claims is expressed.
