dc.description.abstractEl presente trabajo de investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar la incidencia del uso de la LM en la enseñanza de la gramática en las clases de inglés como LE en estudiantes de 9° de la Institución Educativa San Vicente de Paul de San Gil. Para su cumplimiento se ha propuesto una metodología con enfoque cualitativo y diseño enmarcado en la Investigación Acción; los participantes son estudiantes del Grado noveno, en total son 34 jóvenes en total, hombres y mujeres, cuyas edades oscilan entre 14-15 años de edad. Como instrumentos de recolección de la información se implementan una evaluación diagnóstica y una final, y a su vez, los diarios de campo como instrumento de observación directa. Se realiza el diseño de una secuencia didáctica que se orientó a que los estudiantes fortalecieran tanto la gramática y comprensión del idioma español como el idioma inglés. Esto fue evidente, sobre todo, con el concepto de codeswitching, en el que hay un aprendizaje de la gramática (de ambos idiomas) sin necesidad de aprender reglas específicas. Los puntajes obtenidos en la prueba demuestran que ha sido efectiva la secuencia didáctica bajo este enfoque pedagógico y se plantea la necesidad de seguir generando proyectos de este talante para mejorar el aprendizaje de los estudiantes tanto de su LM como de un segundo idioma.
dc.description.abstractenglishThe objective of this research work was to determine the incidence of the use of the LM in the teaching of grammar in English classes as LE in 9th grade students of the San Vicente de Paul de San Gil Educational Institution. For its fulfillment, a methodology with a qualitative approach and design framed in Action Research has been proposed; The participants are ninth grade students, in total there are 34 young people in total, men and women, whose ages range from 14-15 years old. As instruments for collecting information, a diagnostic evaluation and a final evaluation are implemented, and in turn, field diaries as a direct observation instrument. The design of a didactic sequence is carried out that was oriented to the students to strengthen both the grammar and understanding of the Spanish language and the English language. This was evident, above all, with the concept of code switching, in which there is a learning of the grammar (of both languages) without the need to learn specific rules. The scores obtained in the test show that the didactic sequence has been effective under this pedagogical approach and the need to continue generating projects of this nature is raised to improve students' learning of both their LM and a second language.
