dc.description.abstractKentukis, la última novela de Samantha Schweblin, se ambienta en un mundo cuasidistópico en el que un dispositivo electrónico cuestiona la intimidad de una sociedad similar al mundo contemporáneo. La presente investigación tiene como objetivo reconocer de qué manera se configura esa noción de privacidad en la novela, con el fin de determinar las relaciones entre la obra y la posmodernidad. El problema de investigación se aborda desde el método cualitativo y la perspectiva de los estudios culturales, consecuentemente, el análisis parte de los preceptos teóricos de autores como Gilles Lipovetsky, Zygmunt Bauman, Leonor Arfuch y ByungChul Han, por tanto, este también es un estudio de orden sociológico y filosófico. El análisis se divide en las dicotomías amoser, voyerismoexhibicionismo y anonimatoidentidad, las cuales determinan la noción de privacidad en el mundo ficticio de la obra. Los resultados señalan que la noción de privacidad en la novela es similar a la de la sociedad posmoderna; la esfera privada irrumpe en el espacio público y los individuos renuncian a su intimidad a cambio de los beneficios que ofrece la tecnología, entre los cuales figura la posibilidad de establecer relaciones líquidas. En otras palabras, los límites de la privacidad en la novela se desdibujan como consecuencia de la adaptación de los principios posmodernos
dc.description.abstractenglishLittle eyes, Samanta Schweblin's latest novel, is set in a quasidystopian world in which an electronic device questions the intimacy of a society similar to the contemporary world. The present research aims to recognize how this notion of privacy is configured in the novel, in order to determine the relationships between the book and postmodernity. The research problem is approached from the qualitative method and the cultural studies perspective, consequently, the analysis starts from the theoretical precepts of authors such as Gilles Lipovetsky, Zygmunt Bauman, Leonor Arfuch and ByungChul Han, and therefore, this is also a study of sociological and philosophical order. The analysis is divided into the dichotomies of masterbeing, voyeurismexhibitionism and anonymityidentity, which determine the notion of privacy in the book's fictional world. The results indicate that the notion of privacy in the novel and in postmodern society are similar; the private sphere breaks into the public space and individuals give up their privacy in exchange for the benefits and possibilities offered by technology, among which is the possibility of establishing liquid relationships. In other words, privacy limits in the novel are blurred as a consequence of the adaptation of postmodern principles
