dc.description.abstractEl caudal es el flujo de agua que pasa por un Río; pero en ocasiones, como es el caso del protagonista de este texto, también fluye Oro, arena, basura, hombres. Es por esto que el presente texto recorre el Río de oro en el municipio de Girón, Santander, para recorrer en su caudal la experiencia de la comunidad de areneros. Desde un contexto histórico y ambiental se vincula el Río con su comunidad deteniéndose a cuestionar su rol ante la sociedad, luego se plantea un problema de trabajo ¿Cómo hacer visible a estos pobladores que viven sumergiéndose en ese caudal? De allí surge el mural como respuesta y resultado plástico, ante las reflexiones sobre la memoria y las posibilidades del arte, desde la imagen, para proyectar y visibilizar situaciones, comunidades y sus dinámicas. El objetivo es rescatar la imagen de estos hombres frente a una comunidad que los ignora al ignorar el Río. De esta estrecha relación se propicia rescatar la historia de estos hombres, al rescatar la historia del Río mismo y de sus dinámicas. Quizás, al retratar a esta comunidad se ayude a mejorar las condiciones en las que habitan, al menos acercar a la sociedad desde otro camino a las aguas del Río de Oro
dc.description.abstractenglishThe flow is the volumen of water that passes through a river; but sometimes, as is the case with the protagonist of this text, Gold, sand, garbage, men also flow. This is why this text travels the Río de Oro in the municipality of Girón, Santander, to explore the experience of the sandbox community in its flow. From a historical and environmental context, the River is linked with its community, stopping to question its role before society, then a work problem arises. How to make visible these residents who live immersing themselves in that flow? From there the mural arises as a response and plastic result, in the face of reflections on memory and the possibilities of art, from the image, to project and make visible situations, communities and their dynamics. The objective is to rescue the image of these men in front of a community that ignores them by ignoring the River. From this close relationship, it is encouraged to rescue the history of these men, by rescuing the history of the River itself and its dynamics. Perhaps, portraying this community will help to improve the conditions in which they live, at least bringing society closer to the waters of the Río de Oro from another path
