dc.description.abstractSabemos desde el punto de vista de diferentes autores que los volúmenes de tránsito son aquellos estudios que nos muestran la cantidad de vehículos que pasan por una carretera en un determinado tiempo ya sea en una semana, mes o año, estos nos muestran el flujo vehicular que soporta o puede soportar una vía. Estos volúmenes fueron diseñados para que de alguna forma distingamos que estudio ayuda en la construcción, diseño o ampliación de un tramo vial, es saber qué se va a tener en cuenta desde el punto de vista de la movilidad o accesibilidad de ésta, el por qué se debe hacer una modificación o tener claro que en una vía urbana como una autopista el tráfico es diferente al que se da en una vía rural de tercer orden. Con esto, se ha concluido que no todas las vías son diseñadas para lo mismo, algunas son más o menos transitadas con mayor o menor flujo vehicular, por eso se deben hacer diferentes estudios que vayan acorde a su funcionalidad y características que ésta deberá tener para cumplir con el fin por el cual ha sido construida.
dc.description.abstractenglishWe know from the point of view of different authors that the traffic volumes are those studies that show us the amount of vehicles that pass through a road in a certain time either in a week, month or year, these show us the vehicular flow that supports or can support this. These volumes were designed so that in some way we can distinguish which study helps in the construction, design or expansion of a road, it is to know what is going to be taken into account from the point of view of mobility or accessibility of that stretch of road, why a modification should be made or to be clear that in an urban road such as a highway traffic is different than in a rural road of third order. With this, it has been concluded that not all roads are designed for the same, some are more or less transited with more or less vehicular flow, that is why different studies must be made according to its functionality and characteristics that it must have to comply with the purpose for which it was built.
