dc.description.abstractEl presente trabajo de investigación tiene como objetivo determinar cómo se construye y transforma la noción de matrimonio de los personajes en la obra Mi hermanita Magdalena (2022) de Elena Garro. A partir de tres subcategorías de análisis, tales como la influencia del factor histórico y político, intertextualidades culturales de la obra y la perspectiva teórica narratológica. El análisis de los datos cualitativos se realizó desde un enfoque feminista para rastrear las experiencias femeninas en el matrimonio. Finalmente, se determinó que, aunque cada personaje tiene su propia noción, hay un punto de encuentro en la percepción de las hermanas hacia el final de la obra, al matrimonio significar una nueva oportunidad de rehacer sus vidas como una forma de salvación que les permitió reivindicarse en este. La autora realizó una crítica a los convencionalismos del matrimonio a través de la representación insatisfactoria de la realidad percibida por los lectores.
dc.description.abstractenglishThe present research work aims to determine how the notion of marriage of the characters in Elena Garro's Mi hermanita Magdalena (2022) is constructed and transformed. From three subcategories of analysis, such as the influence of the historical and political factor, cultural intertextualities of the work, narratological theoretical perspective. The analysis of the qualitative data was carried out from a feminist approach to trace the female experiences in marriage. Finally, it was determined that, although each character has her own notion, there is a meeting point in the perception of the sisters at the end of the play, marriage meaning a new opportunity to rebuild their lives as a form of salvation that allowed them to vindicate themselves in it. The author made a critique of the conventions of marriage through the unsatisfactory representation of the reality perceived by the readers.
