| dc.description.abstract | A través del rastreo de la figura del héroe, se establece una caracterización de los personajes protagónicos de la novela como género y de María, particularmente. A partir de la semiótica del discurso se lleva a cabo un estudio de las estructuras profundas de María. Mediante las relaciones que establecen los personajes, es posible advertir cómo está organizada la novela como texto cultural. Finalmente se hace la aproximación a la teoría hermenéutica que complementa la apropiación del sentido del texto a través del proceso de interpretación. Con esto se demuestra que la caracterización del héroe como figura fundamental del relato hace parte de una representación problematizadora de la cultura. La novela María, publicada en 1867, es reconocida como uno de los textos literarios más importantes no sólo de Colombia sino de América Latina, además de ser una de las expresiones artísticas más importantes del Romanticismo de nuestro continente. En el desarrollo de la investigación se intenta corroborar la caracterización de María y Efraín, la pareja heroica de la novela, como representación, tanto de un colectivo como de un individuo, y como una brecha que plantea un tiempo de crisis de la sociedad. En este sentido, la pareja heroica es entendida como un antes y un paulatino después en la sociedad neogranadina del siglo XIX. El nivel de la interpretación se plantea a partir de la hermenéutica de Paul Ricoeur, en el sentido de entender el texto narrativo como inscrito en una cultura, y por lo tanto, refigurador de la misma. El análisis intenta ir más allá del texto y las limitaciones que propone una mirada solo desde el punto de vista del autor. | |
| dc.description.abstractenglish | By tracking the figure of the hero, it is established a characterization of the main characters of the novel as a gender and of Maria, in particular. Based on Semiotics it is done a study of the deep structures of Maria. Through the relations that are established by the characters, it is possible to realize how the novel is organized as a cultural text. Finally, there is an approximation of the Hermeneutics theory that complements the acquisition of the text sense through the process of interpretation. With this, it is shown the characterization of the hero as a main figure of a story that appears as a problematic representation of culture. The novel María, published on 1867, is known as one of the most important literary texts of Colombia and Latinamerica. Furthermore, it is one of the artistic expressions most important of Romanticism in our continent Throughout the investigation it is tried to make sure on María and Efraín characterization as the heroic couple of the novel, as a representation, both of a group and of an single person, and as the breakpoint that represents an crisis moment on society. For that matter, the heroic couple is understood as a before and as an after in progress of neogranadin society on XIX century. The interpretation level is presented according to Paul Ricoeur™s Hermeneutics, that expresses that the narrative text is located on an specific culture, and for that reason, transforms it. The analysis tries to get further from the text itself and the limitations that implies the mere look from the author perspective. | |
