dc.description.abstractEste estudio se basó en el análisis de reforzamiento estructural de una edificación no resistente a cargas laterales utilizando diagonales de pandeo restringido, el cual facilito la verificación al nivel de desempeño estructural y capacidad de disipar la energía del sismo del diseño correspondiente, llevando en algunos casos incumplimientos en la capacidad de resistencia lateral y ductilidad en un gran número de edificaciones que se han construido, prosigue considerar las normativas sismo resistentes y especificaciones técnicas aplicables. El hecho de la demolición de edificaciones se ha transformado en una experiencia firme en el área de construcción de obras civiles, creando no solo adversidades, sino también un efecto indicador en los costos de construcción, sumado componentes ambientales siguen formando más prohibiciones, por lo tanto es necesaria la ejecución de técnicas de reforzamiento en estructuras, para de esta manera impedir su demolición general o parcial con el progreso de disyuntivas que avalen un apropiado grado de trabajo de construcciones inferior a eventos sísmicos de enorme magnitud (Hamdy, 2017).
dc.description.abstractenglishThis study was based on the analysis of structural reinforcement of a building not resistant to lateral loads using restricted buckling diagonals, which facilitated the verification at the level of structural performance and ability to dissipate the energy of the corresponding design earthquake, leading in some cases of non-compliance in the capacity of lateral resistance and ductility in a large number of buildings that have been built, continue to consider the resistant earthquake regulations and applicable technical specifications. The fact of the demolition of buildings has become a firm experience in the area of civil works construction, creating not only adversities, but also an indicator effect on construction costs, added environmental components continue to form more prohibitions, therefore It is necessary the execution of reinforcement techniques in structures, in order to prevent their general or partial demolition with the progress of dilemmas that guarantee an appropriate degree of construction work inferior to seismic events of great magnitude (Hamdy, 2017).
