dc.description.abstractEn el presente proyecto se realiza el estudio para el rediseño de la estación de bombeo del municipio de Contratación en Santander, el cual cuenta con una estación de varios años de construida sin la normatividad impuesta por la RAS (Reglamento Técnico del Sector de Agua potable y Saneamiento). La comunidad de este municipio no cuenta con un servicio óptimo debido a la no cobertura total de abastecimiento de agua potable, dejando sin servicio a dos barrios del municipio (Pablo Sexto y Bella Vista) por encontrarse situados a una altura superior de la estación de tratamiento de agua y no estar entre los barrios de abastecimiento por gravedad, como es el tipo de operación que actualmente se usa. Mediante una proyección poblacional a 25 años, se calcula un número de personas aproximadas para realizar los cálculos pertinentes y garantizar un óptimo funcionamiento en este tiempo de operación proyectado. Se determinan los requerimientos necesarios para un posible rediseño, partiendo desde la construcción de una bocatoma adecuada según las condiciones ambientales de la ubicación de la misma, hasta el proceso de selección de las unidades de bombeo que se necesitan para abastecer al 100% de la población calculada. Todos los procesos de cálculo se realizan mediante los conocimientos adquiridos en el paso por la Universidad Industrial de Santander y algunos textos de utilidad que fueron escogidos acorde a las necesidades.
dc.description.abstractenglishIn the present project, the study is carried out for the redesign of the pumping station of the municipality of Contratación in Santander, which has a station built several years ago without the regulations imposed by the RAS (Technical Regulation of the Drinking Water Sector and Sanitation). The community of this municipality does not have an optimal service due to the lack of total coverage of drinking water supply, leaving two neighborhoods of the municipality (Pablo Sexto and Bella Vista) without service because they are located at a higher altitude than the treatment station. of water and not be between the neighborhoods of supply by gravity, as is the type of operation that is currently used. By means of a 25-year population projection, an approximate number of people is calculated to carry out the pertinent calculations and guarantee optimal functioning in this projected operating time. The necessary requirements for a possible redesign are determined, starting from the construction of an adequate intake according to the environmental conditions of its location, to the process of selecting the pumping units that are needed to supply 100% of the population. calculated. All the calculation processes are carried out through the knowledge acquired during the time at the Industrial University of Santander and some useful texts that were chosen according to the needs.
