dc.description.abstractEn este trabajo de grado se estudiaron seis arias provenientes de óperas compuestas en el periodo romántico por Gaetano Donizetti y Giacomo Puccini, con el propósito de resaltar la gran importancia que este repertorio significa para los estudiantes de canto con voz de tenor en la escuela de música en la Universidad Industrial de Santander. El surgimiento y desarrollo del movimiento operístico de los mencionados compositores desde el punto de vista de lo importantes que fueron para el periodo musical en el que vivieron y trabajaron, de sus obras ícono, de sus arias más representativas, de la complejidad que significa interpretar obras de este periodo y de sus óperas, resaltando el gran trabajo técnico e interpretativo que deben realizar quienes se dispongan a cantar sus arias. Por último, se concluye con este proyecto que, pensando en un proceso de crecimiento completo profesional del estudiante de canto con voz de tenor, debería pasar por el compromiso de interpretar repertorio operístico de este periodo musical, y que los recitales de finales de semestre sean el momento y escenario más propicio para que esto suceda.
dc.description.abstractenglishIn this degree work, six opera arias from romantic period and composed by Gaetano Donizetti and Giacomo Puccini were studied with the purpose of highlighting the large importance that this repertoire means on tenor voice singing students at the music school of Industrial University of Santander. The emerging and development of the operatic movement of the already mentioned composers from the point of view of how important they were for the musical period they lived and worked, their iconic plays, their most representative arias, the inner complexity that carries performing arias from this musical period and its operas, underlining the great technical and performing work that needs to be done by those interested on singing these arias. At last, it is concluded with this project that, considering a complete professional growing from the singing student with a tenor voice, this should go through the commitment of performing operatic repertoire from this musical period, and that the ending semester recitals should be the most favorable time and place for this to happen.
