dc.description.abstractLa utilización del modelo de madurez organizacional para la dirección de Proyectos (OPM3®)- Tercera edición permite realizar un diagnóstico del estado actual del proceso de dirección de proyectos en la empresa santandereana PROBRACO SAS dedicada a la consultoría y construcción de obras civiles. La aplicación del modelo permite conocer la organización, expectativas de la alta gerencia, visión empresarial, procesos y procedimientos realizados hasta el momento, por la empresa PROBRACO SAS en el área de dirección de proyectos atreves de la aplicación de la autoevaluación SAM (Self-Assessment Method) propuesta en el estándar OPM3®-Tercera Edición, comparando el proceso de dirección de proyectos basado en las buenas practicas definidas en la guía del PMBOK®-quinta edición con la situación actual de la organización. La autoevaluación SAM contiene el diccionario de las buenas prácticas definidas por el PMI para la dirección de Portafolios, Programas y Proyectos, siendo el alcance de esta monografía y objeto de estudio, el área de Proyectos de PROBRACO SAS, buscando con ello identificar la aplicación actual de las buenas prácticas dentro del proceso de Direccion de Proyectos y la identificación de las buenas practicas que se desean implementar dentro de un plan de mejora futuro. Los resultados obtenidos con la utilización de la metodología permiten evidenciar las debilidades y fortalezas del proceso en estudio, logrando con ello, proponer un plan de trabajo y mejora estructurada en la introducción de tres fases de implantación en el tiempo propuesto por los autores, permitiendo alcanzar las metas propuestas detectadas por la organización en la primera fase del
