dc.description.abstractLa innovación es uno de los procesos insignia de las economías desarrolladas e industrializadas que les ha permito dinamizar su desarrollo económico y la generación de valor agregado en la producción de bienes y servicios. Componentes que juntos impulsan el bienestar y mejor calidad de vida de los ciudadanos. En ese sentido, el presente trabajo propone como objetivo la identificación de los determinantes de la innovación empresarial en las empresas de Armenia para el año 2020 haciendo uso de los datos ofrecidos por la Encuesta de Empresas recopilada por el Banco Mundial. La importancia de conocer estos determinantes se evidencia en la necesidad de un panorama informado para que organizaciones, empresas e individuos puedan tomar decisiones congruentes con impulsar los procesos de innovación en el territorio. Se hizo uso de las técnicas estadísticas de regresión logística y probit para poder determinar estos factores, asimismo, se hizo uso del software estadístico R. Los resultados mostraron que los determinantes de la innovación en Armenia son la tenencia de página web y los programas de entrenamiento y capacitación a la fuerza laboral fija y temporal por parte de las 529 empresas analizadas.
dc.description.abstractenglishInnovation is one of the flagship processes of developed and industrialized economies that has enabled them to boost their economic development and the generation of added value in the production of goods and services. Components that together promote the well-being and better quality of life of citizens. In this sense, the present work proposes as objective the identification of the determinants of business innovation in companies of Armenia for the year 2020 using the data offered by the Business Survey compiled by the World Bank. The importance of knowing these determinants is evident in the need for an informed panorama so that organizations, companies and individuals can make decisions consistent with promoting innovation processes in the territory. Logistic regression and probit statistical techniques were used to determine these factors, also the statistical software R was used. The results showed that the determinants of innovation in Armenia are the website ownership and training programs to the fixed and temporary workforce by the 529 companies analyzed.
