dc.description.abstractSe realizó un estudio de evaluación de tecnologías diagnósticas en el que se compararon dos instrumentos que miden el desarrollo motor (DM) Œproceso de adquisición y evolución de habilidades motoras: la Escala Abreviada del Desarrollo (EAD), empleada en Colombia para vigilar el DM, del cual no existen reportes de validez o reproducibilidad, y el test australiano Neuro Sensory Motor Development Assessment (NSMDA), diseñado para identificar alteraciones motoras y neurosensoriales. Los objetivos fueron evaluar la reproducibilidad del componente motor de la EAD y de una traducción al español del test NSMDA y determinar la validez de constructo de cada test y la validez de constructo de tipo convergente entre los dos test. La población estuvo conformada por 260 niños y niñas de 4 y 5 años de edad. Para el análisis se aplicaron coeficientes de correlación intraclase (CCI), los límites de acuerdo de Bland y Altman, el coeficiente de correlación de Spearman (r) y Análisis de Factores. El CCI y el promedio de la diferencias para el NSMDA fueron 0,89 y 1,22 y para la EAD 0,96 y 0,01 respectivamente. La estructura factorial del NSMDA mostró la conformación de siete factores que explicaron el 41% de la varianza, y la del EAD mostró tres factores que explicaron el 62,5% de la varianza. La validez de constructo convergente (r) fue de 0,51. Los dos instrumentos tienen buena reproducibilidad inter-evaluador. La convergencia entre los test es moderada, posiblemente explicada por las diferencias en el enfoque de medición de cada instrumento.
dc.description.abstractenglishAn evaluation of diagnostic technologies was done in which two instruments that evaluate the Motor development (MD) Œprocess of acquisition and evolution of motor skillsŒ was evaluated: The Escala Abreviada del Desarrollo (EAD), employed in Colombia to monitor MD, of which doesn't exist reports of validity or reproducibility, and the Neuro Sensory Motor Development Assessment (NSMDA) australian test, designed to identify motor and neurosensorial alterations. Objectives were to evaluate the reliability of the motor component of the Escala Abreviada del Desarrollo and a translation to Spanish of the NSMDA and determinate the construct validity of each test and the convergent construct validity between the two tests. The sample was conformed by 260 children with ages of 4 and 5. The analysis included intraclass correlation coefficients (ICC), the Bland and Altman's limits of agreement, the Spearman's correlation coefficient (r) and Factor Analysis. The ICC and the mean of differences for the NSMDA was 0,89 and 1,22 and for the EAD 0,96 and 0,01 respectively. The factorial structure of the NSMDA showed seven factors that accounted 41% of the variance, and the structure of the EAD showed three factors that accounted 62,5% of the variance. The convergent construct validity (r) was 0,51. Both instruments have good inter-rater reliability. The convergence between the tests is moderated, possibly explained by the differences in the approach of measurement of each instrument.
