dc.description.abstract	Introducción: La identificación de talentos deportivos en el ámbito escolar requiere el análisis integral de variables antropométricas, motoras y psicosociales, las cuales inciden en el rendimiento y la permanencia en la práctica deportiva durante la adolescencia. Objetivo: Determinar las características antropométricas, motoras y actitudinales para el deporte en estudiantes de edades entre 11 y 17 años del colegio Beth Shalom Gimnasio Campestre. Metodología: Se desarrolló un estudio cuantitativo de tipo descriptivo con diseño transversal. La muestra estuvo conformada por estudiantes escolarizados, agrupados por rangos etarios (11-14 años) y (15-17 años). Se aplicaron pruebas de peso, talla, índice de masa corporal (IMC), velocidad, fuerza, resistencia, salto y flexibilidad y el test de motivos deportivos. El análisis estadístico incluyó medidas descriptivas y un Anova de tres factores según el grupo etario, sexo, y práctica deportiva extraescolar. Resultados: Dentro de la literatura se observó que las caracterizaciones no suelen integrar los tres componentes utilizados en esta investigación, se evidenciaron diferencias significativas entre los grupos etarios, observándose mejoras progresivas en la mayoría de capacidades físicas con el aumento de la edad. Los resultados antropométricos mostraron variabilidad de acuerdo a la edad o el sexo, tanto en estatura como en peso. En el componente actitudinal se identificó una disposición favorable hacia la práctica deportiva, aunque con diferencias según el grupo analizado Conclusión: La caracterización integral permitió identificar perfiles diferenciados de desarrollo físico, motor y actitudinal, aportando información relevante para la caracterización de escolares y detección de jóvenes con aptitudes deportivas.
dc.description.abstractenglish	Introduction: The identification of sports talent in the school context requires a comprehensive analysis of anthropometric, motor, and psychosocial variables, which influence performance and adherence to sports practice during adolescence. Objective: To determine the anthropometric, motor, and attitudinal characteristics for sport in students aged 11 to 17 years from Beth Shalom Gimnasio Campestre School. Methodology: A quantitative descriptive study with a cross-sectional design was conducted. The sample consisted of school students grouped by age ranges (11–14 years) and (15–17 years). Tests for weight, height, body mass index (BMI), speed, strength, endurance, jump, and flexibility were applied, along with the Sport Motivation Test. The statistical analysis included descriptive measures and a three-factor ANOVA according to age group, sex, and participation in extracurricular sports. Results: The literature review showed that characterizations rarely integrate the three components analyzed in this study. Significant differences were found between age groups, with progressive improvements in most physical capacities as age increased. Anthropometric results varied according to age and sex, particularly in height and weight. In the attitudinal component, a favorable disposition toward sports practice was identified, although differences were observed among groups. Conclusion: The comprehensive characterization allowed the identification of differentiated profiles of physical, motor, and attitudinal development, providing relevant information for the characterization of school populations and the detection of young individuals with sports aptitude.
