dc.description.abstract	El tiempo del maestro a través del tiempo, surge del interés de saber cómo el maestro se ha visto afectado por su organización de tiempo laboral. Esta investigación hace parte del macro proyecto maestro a través del tiempo 1870-, adscrito al colectivo de investigación Educativa y Gestión (CEGE), de la Escuela de Educación de la Universidad Industrial de Santander. Este macro proyecto permite el análisis del tiempo histórico y en él, cómo se ha organizado el tiempo laboral de los maestros de diversas épocas; analiza las problemáticas y afectaciones que han sufrido los maestros y los aspectos que determinaban su labor. En el marco del macro proyecto, la presente investigación delimita una parte de la historia de nuestro país de 1937-1957 desde la creación del escalafón nacional hasta el frente nacional. No solo para delimitar el campo de estudio, sino para poder entender el porqué de las luchas actuales de los maestros, de sus manifestaciones e inconformismos, lo que deja en evidencia que desde décadas atrás se han presentado. Nada de lo que se vive hoy es nuevo, las disputas del magisterio han tenido un inicio y unos factores que las han acrecentado hasta nuestros días y han instaurado en diferentes momentos de la historia al maestro como agente transformador de la educación y la sociedad. La naturaleza de la investigación es un enfoque cualitativo con técnica de análisis documental, apoyada en fuentes primarias y secundarias, plantea algunas categorías y subcategorías emergentes del análisis y finalmente unas conclusiones y recomendaciones que fortalezcan la investigación en educación.
dc.description.abstractenglish	Teachers’ time throughout history, arises from the interest in discovering how teachers have been affected because of the organization of their working time. The following research is part of a macro-project titled ―El tiempo del maestro a través del tiempo 1870-2013”, assigned to the research group ―Calidad Educativa y Gestión Escolar‖ (CEGE), from the Education School at Universidad Industrial de Santander. This project allows the analysis of historical timelines and within it how has teachers’ working time been organized on different periods of time. It also analyses the problems and impacts that teachers have undergone and the aspects that determine their labor. In the framework of the macro-project, this current research limits our country’s history of 1937-1957 from the creation of the national scale until the National Front. This was done not only to limit the field of study, but also to understand the reasons of the recent struggles of the teachers, their protests and nonconformism, which evidences that they have been present since decades before. Nothing of what is happening today is new, the arguments on teaching have had a beginning and factors that have incremented them nowadays and that have stablished the teacher as a shifter of education and society though the time. The nature of this study is qualitative with documentary analysis techniques, supported by primary and secondary sources; it sets up categories and subcategories according to the analysis and finally brings some conclusions and recommendations to strengthen research about education.
