dc.description.abstract	El presente Trabajo de Grado corresponde a las actividades realizadas como auxiliar de ingeniería en la empresa Gestión y Obras S.A.S, respaldado por la aprobación de la Escuela de Ingeniería Civil de la Universidad Industrial de Santander. Durante los cuatro meses de la práctica, se realizaron actividades de apoyo y control al proyecto “REMODELACIÓN PARQUE PRINCIPAL DEL MUNICIPIO DE CALIFORNIA, SANTANDER” situado en el municipio de California, que contempla reconstrucción del parque principal. En el periodo de la práctica empresarial, se cumplió con todos los objetivos propuestos en el plan de trabajo de grado, ajustándose al cronograma propuesto. Se realizaron actividades como supervisión de calidad de los materiales, construcción de muros, cimentación, elementos estructurales como columnas, vigas, viguetas, instalación de estructura metálica en forma de panal, enchape de la formaleta y la piedra laja para el parque, entre otras actividades, así mismo, se tuvo en cuenta la implementación de herramientas ofimáticas como Microsoft Project, Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, entre otras actividades estuvo la elaboración de informes técnicos, ambientales, de seguridad y salud en el trabajo, de tránsito y actas parciales para su cobro. Todo esto como apoyo al residente de obra, colaborando con la coordinación y ejecución de actividades asegurando el éxito del proyecto.
dc.description.abstractenglish	This thesis corresponds to the activities carried out as an engineering assistant at Gestion y Obras S.A.S., supported by the approval of the School of Civil Engineering at the Industrial University of Santander. During the four months of the internship, support and control activities were carried out for the project "REMODELING OF THE MAIN PARK OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF CALIFORNIA, SANTANDER," located in the municipality of California, which includes the reconstruction of the main park. During the internship period, all the objectives proposed in the thesis plan were met, adhering to the proposed schedule. Activities included quality control of materials, construction of walls, foundations, structural elements such as columns, beams and joists, installation of a honeycomb-shaped metal structure, and the cladding of the formwork and flagstones for the park. The project also included the implementation office tools such as Microsoft Project, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Among other activities, this included the preparation of technical, environmental, occupational health and safety, and traffic reports, as well as partial reports for collection. All of this supported the construction manager, collaborating with the coordination and execution of activities to ensure the project's success.
