dc.description.abstract	La presente investigación muestra los resultados del estudio realizado a los estudiantes de 5 grado de la Institución Educativa John F. Kennedy de la ciudad de Barrancabermeja, Santander. El objetivo central del trabajo fue determinar cómo la lectura colaborativa de cuentos fantásticos favorece el desarrollo de pensamiento crítico en estudiantes de 5° de primaria. La investigación es de enfoque cualitativo con diseño de la investigación acción, a través de un proceso de análisis y reflexión realizada en cada una de las fases de la investigación se identificó el nivel de pensamiento crítico de los estudiantes de 5 grado a partir del cuento fantástico, se formuló una estrategia de intervención a partir del diseño de una secuencia didáctica, y gracias a la participación en ella, los estudiantes mejoraron su capacidad para pensar críticamente; asimismo, se establecieron los avances de la secuencia en relación con el pensamiento crítico y lectura de cuentos. A partir de la ejecución de cada fase y el estudio detallado de los diarios de campo, las entrevistas semiestructuradas con el grupo focal y análisis de los documentos, se llega a la conclusión que los resultados obtenidos en los estudiantes fueron buenos en la medida que lograron a través de la lectura de cuentos fantásticos y el trabajo colaborativo, un avance significativo en las habilidades de pensamiento crítico. Implementar esta propuesta de investigación fue interesante para los estudiantes y la maestra en la medida que se hicieron las clases más amenas mediante la implementación de estrategias variadas de lectura, logrando alcanzar aprendizajes duraderos y significativos.
dc.description.abstractenglish	The present investigation shows the results of the study carried out on 5th grade students of the John F. Kennedy Educational Institution of the city of Barrancabermeja, Santander. The main objective of the work was to determine how the collaborative collaboration of fantastic stories favored the development of critical thinking in students of 5 TH of primary school. The investigation is of qualitative approach with design of the action research, through a process of analysis and reflection carried out in each one of the phases of the investigation the level of critical thinking of the 5th grade students was identified from the fantastic story , an intervention strategy was formulated based on the design of a didactic sequence, and thanks to the participation in it, the students improved their ability to think critically and established the progress of the sequence in relation to critical thinking and story reading . From the execution of each phase and the detailed study of field diaries, semi-structured interviews with the focus group and analysis of the documents, it is concluded that the results obtained in the students were good to the extent that they achieved Through the reading of fantastic stories and collaborative work, a significant advance in critical thinking skills Implementing this research proposal was interesting and significant for the students and the teacher to the extent that more enjoyable and meaningful classes were made through the implementation of varied reading strategies, achieving lasting and significant learning.
