dc.description.abstract	El presente trabajo de grado describe el desarrollo de una práctica empresarial realizada en la Electrificadora de Santander (ESSA), dentro del área de Infraestructura en el equipo de gestión locativa, donde se integraron conocimientos de ingeniería civil en el marco de proyectos de infraestructura locativa. El trabajo se estructuró por medio del objetivo general, apoyar la gestión y supervisión de proyectos desarrollados en infraestructuras de áreas no energizadas. Para ello, el proyecto se organizó en tres fases: diseño, supervisión y seguimiento, abarcando proyectos de gran valor para el enfoque integral de la práctica con la empresa. Las actividades incluyeron modelado BIM en Revit, elaboración de presupuestos, supervisión técnica de obras, coordinación con contratistas, entre otros. Durante el proceso se enfrentaron retos como demoras administrativas y dificultades de comunicación, que reforzaron habilidades en liderazgo, resolución de problemas y gestión de proyectos. El trabajo desarrollado permitió reconocer la relevancia de una planificación adecuada y el cumplimiento de normativas para el éxito de los proyectos de infraestructura. Se identificó que la gestión eficiente de recursos y la evaluación rigurosa de contratistas y proveedores son fundamentales para asegurar la calidad, sostenibilidad y continuidad de las obras.
dc.description.abstractenglish	This undergraduate thesis describes the development of a business internship carried out at Electrificadora de Santander (ESSA), within the Infrastructure area in the facilities management team, where civil engineering knowledge was applied in the context of non-energized infrastructure projects. The work was structured around the general objective of supporting the management and supervision of projects developed in non-energized facilities. The internship was divided into three phases: design, supervision, and follow-up, covering high-impact projects that contributed to an integrated experience with the company. Activities included BIM modeling in Revit, budget preparation, technical supervision of construction work, and coordination with contractors, among others. During the process, challenges such as administrative delays and communication issues strengthened leadership, problem-solving, and project management skills. This work allowed for a deeper understanding of the importance of proper planning and regulatory compliance in the success of infrastructure projects. It was concluded that efficient resource management and rigorous contractor and supplier evaluation are essential to ensure the quality, sustainability, and continuity of the projects.
