dc.description.abstract	El presente trabajo de grado describe las actividades desarrolladas durante la práctica empresarial realizada en la Oficina de Obras Civiles de la Alcaldía Municipal de La Plata, Huila, la cual tuvo como propósito apoyar los procesos de formulación y gestión de proyectos de infraestructura. Durante el periodo de práctica se participó en la revisión e interpretación de documentación técnica, presupuestos, cantidades de obra y demás información requerida para el desarrollo de proyectos, así como en actividades de organización documental y consolidación de información técnica y administrativa. También se brindó apoyo en la revisión de expedientes y en la estructuración de información necesaria para diferentes procesos adelantados por la dependencia. Adicionalmente, se realizaron visitas técnicas a diferentes sectores del municipio con el fin de recopilar información de campo, identificar necesidades de intervención y apoyar la elaboración de actas, informes técnicos y registros fotográficos. Estas actividades permitieron fortalecer habilidades relacionadas con la interpretación de información técnica, el análisis de proyectos, la identificación de problemáticas de infraestructura y la aplicación de criterios propios de la ingeniería civil en contextos reales. Como resultado, la práctica contribuyó al desarrollo de competencias técnicas y profesionales necesarias para el ejercicio de la ingeniería civil, permitiendo integrar los conocimientos adquiridos durante la formación académica con las necesidades y dinámicas propias del sector público.
dc.description.abstractenglish	This undergraduate thesis describes the activities carried out during a professional internship at the Civil Works Office of the Municipality of La Plata, Huila, which aimed to support the formulation and management of infrastructure projects. During the internship period, activities included the review and interpretation of technical documentation, budgets, quantity takeoffs, and other information required for project development, as well as document management and the consolidation of technical and administrative information. Support was also provided in the review of project files and the organization of information required for different processes undertaken by the office. In addition, technical site visits were conducted in different areas of the municipality to collect field information, identify infrastructure needs, and support the preparation of technical reports, records, and photographic documentation. These activities contributed to strengthening skills related to the interpretation of technical information, project analysis, the identification of infrastructure-related issues, and the application of civil engineering principles in real-world contexts. As a result, the internship contributed to the development of technical and professional competencies required for the practice of civil engineering, enabling the integration of academic knowledge with the needs and operational dynamics of the public sector.
