dc.description.abstract	El portal web del grupo de desarrollo de software Calumet se ha convertido en el medio de comunicación e información más importante con el que cuentan sus usuarios, sus aportes y sugerencias se convierten en un elemento indispensable para el enriquecimiento y mejora continua de los servicios que el sitio ofrece, permitiendo la consolidación del portal web como una herramienta que permita construir comunidad. Obedeciendo a las sugerencias de nuestros usuarios y a las necesidades de nuestra comunidad se planta crear el entorno de Cartelera para estudiantes y docentes de Aula Virtual facilitando así la comunicación entre los integrantes de un mismo guion o grupo. Adaptarse a los cambios de tecnología implica tener conocimiento y manejo de todos los servicios que presta el sitio web de cada escuela, es por esto que se crea un medio de ayudas virtual capaz de solucionar inquietudes y en donde cada usuario podrá explorar y conocer el portal de acuerdo a sus preferencias. El comité de Trabajos de grado tendrá un nuevo servicio, el cual le permite modificar las decisiones sobre las solicitudes ya estudiadas en la sesión del día. Según el requerimiento suministrado por la escuela de Geología y Metalúrgica se implementa un nuevo índex manteniendo las funcionalidades indispensables, para el buen funcionamiento del portal acorde a lo planeado por los administrativos de las Escuelas. Los servicios del portal Web de la escuela deben mejorar constantemente y adaptarse a los cambios que se presenten en su entorno, a su vez deben dar solución a las necesidades que surjan por parte de los usuarios incrementando su vida útil y no llegar a convertirse en un software obsoleto, razón por la cual las labores de mantenimiento y actualización se hacen indispensables. Por lo anterior se hace reingeniería a Cartelera General diseñando una nueva interfaz.
dc.description.abstractenglish	The web site of the software development group , Calumet, has become the most important communication and information medium for the users; its contributions and suggestions turn into an essencial element for the continuous improvement and enrichment of the services that the site offer, alowing the consolidation of the web site as a tool that let us to build a comunity. Listening and obeying our users suggestions and the needs of the comunity, we ropose to creat a bulletin board for students and teachers of the virtual-classroom, to get easier the comunication between the members of a same group. The adaptation to the technology changes implies having some knowledge and operation of all the services that the web site of each faculty brings, this is why we developed a virtual help assistance to solve issues and questions that every user have, and also will be able to explore and know the site according to they needs. The committee for the graduation projects will have a new service that allow them to switch the decisions that were already token during the session of the day. According to some requirements given by the faculties of geology and mettalurgy we enabled a new index, keeping the indispensable functions, sticking in the previously agreeded by the faculties administrators, in order to mantein the well performance of the site. The services of the website have to be constantly improving and adapting to the upcoming changes of the environment, at the same time musti give solutions tio the needs that arise from the users increasing, this way, its use lifetime, and not becoming an old dysfunctional software, thats why the maintenance and upgrading become essential. because of all this we make reengineering to the general bulletin board designing a new interface.
