dc.description.abstract	Este proyecto se realizó con el propósito de verificar los sistemas Purificador MIOX y MIOX Sal 80, en el Acueducto Metropolitano de Bucaramanga. Para llevar a cabo esta investigación fue necesario determinar las características físicas, químicas y microbiológicas del agua tratada con estos equipos en el laboratorio de control de calidad de aguas, localizado en la planta la flora y que están establecidas en la resolución 2115 de 2007, con el objetivo de ser comparadas con el tratamiento que actualmente se hace en las plantas del AMB. El contenido se basa en el desarrollo experimental de las diferentes pruebas y el análisis de los resultados obtenidos demostrando si la tecnología es favorable como un paso importante para el mejoramiento del proceso de desinfección y producción de agua potable. Además se explican los pasos para el manejo de los dos equipos miox y la forma en que se hicieron las pruebas con cada uno de ellos y por último se hace una comparación de los costos y del manejo de el método de desinfección que utiliza actualmente el Acueducto Metropolitano de Bucaramanga con los dos productos de la corporación miox, teniendo en cuenta las ventajas y desventajas en el manejo y proceso de cada uno de ellos.
dc.description.abstractenglish	This project was performed with the purpose to verify the systems MIOX purifier and MIOX Sal 80, To carry out this investigation, was necessary to determine the physical, chemical and microbiological characteristics of the water treated with these teams in the quality control laboratory of water, located in the flora plant and that they are established in the resolution 2115 of 2007, With the aim to be compared with the treatment that at present does in the plants of the AMB. The content is based on the experimental development of different tests and the analysis of the obtained results demonstrating if the technology is favorable as an important step for the improvement of the disinfection process and production of potable water. Also explains the steps for the guide of the two teams and the way to do the tests with each of them and finally a comparison of cost and the handling of the method of disinfection currently used by the Bucaramanga's Metropolitan Aqueduct with the two products of the miox corporation keeping in mind the advantages and disadvantages in the handling and process of each one of them.
