dc.description.abstract	El desarrollo de esta práctica empresarial, define en una primera parte la Estratigrafía y la tectónica de la zona de trabajo conocida como el área de concesión INGEOMINAS FGJ Œ 151, el cual está ubicado en el flanco oeste del Sinclinal de Nuevo Mundo, la extensión del área es de 600 hectáreas, y se encuentra localizado en el departamento de Santander en cercanías de San Vicente del Chucurí. En el área afloran rocas sedimentarias las cuales constituyen el mayor dominio litológico de la zona de trabajo, estas abarcan desde el Cretácico superior hasta el Cuaternario. Se encuentran representados dentro el área de estudio por las formaciones Umir, y la formación Lisama, y el Cuaternario representado por depósitos aluviales y coluviones. Aunque en la zona no se ven efectos tectónicos, los más representativos dentro del aspecto regional están marcados por el sistema de fallas de La Salina y el Sinclinal de Nuevo Mundo. Por otro lado la segunda parte de este informe se ha desarrollado con fines de exploración minera de un yacimiento de carbón, de tal forma que se pueda definir no solo la cartografía geológica del área sino de igual forma definir las trazas de mantos y calcular las reservas que esta zona podría tener para
dc.description.abstractenglish	The development of this managerial practice, defines in a first part the Stratigraphy and the tectonic of the work area known as the concession area INGEOMINAS FGJ - 151, which is located in the west flank of the Nuevo Mundo Synclinal, the extension of the area is about 600 hectares, and it is located in the department of Santander in proximities of San Vicente of the Chucurí. In the area appear sedimentary rocks which constitute the biggest lithologic domain in the work area, they reach from the Upper Kretacic to the Quaternary. They are represented the study area by the formations known as Umir Formation, and the Lisama formation, and the Quaternary unit, represented by alluvial and colluvial deposits. Although in this area the tectonic effects are not the most representative inside the regional aspect that™s marked by the fault system of The Saline, and the Nuevo Mundo Synclinal. In the other hand, the second part of this report has been developed with the intentions mining exploration study for a coal ore, in such a way that it cannot be defined only with the geologic cartography of the area, but in equal form it helps to define the appearances of the coal mantles, and in the same way, to calculate the reservations that this area could have, specifically for future mining works and exploitation inside the area of Santander in San Vicente of the Chucurí, either that mining is developed to strip mining or underground mining.
