dc.description.abstract	Es importante conocer varios métodos de análisis constructivos al querer realizar una cimentación para los diferentes sistemas de plataformas petroleras mar adentro, permitiendo seleccionar y ajustar de una manera óptima las necesidades del sitio donde se trabaja. Básicamente este proyecto consta de la recopilación de información sobre los métodos más significativos. La finalidad de esta tesis es dar a conocer los aspectos generales más importantes en el diseño de cimentaciones que se involucran en la incursión de las aguas profundas para la extracción de petróleo. Además se pretenden plasmar todos los aspectos geotécnicos y geofísicos involucrados en la exploración de yacimientos en aguas profundas. Ante la necesidad energética actual, la industria petrolera Colombiana se ha venido inclinando por el desarrollo y el estudio de nuevas fuentes de energía. Actualmente el programa de exploración petrolera mar adentro es casi nulo, razón por la cual deben hacerse investigaciones de nuevos yacimientos en aguas cada vez más profundas tratando de enfocar con mayor atención al desarrollo tecnológico para el fomento de ahorro en el uso de hidrocarburos.
dc.description.abstractenglish	It is important to know various methods of constructive analysis in wanting to make a foundation for the different systems of offshore oil platforms, allowing a select and adjust optimally the needs of where they work. Basically this project consists of collecting information of the most significant. The purpose of this thesis is to show the most important general aspects in the design of foundations that are involved in the incursion of deep waters to oil drilling. In addition, seek to capture all aspects involved in geotechnical and geophysical exploration of deepwater fields. Before the current energy needs, the Colombian oil industry has been leaning by development and the study of new sources of energy. Currently the offshore oil exploration program is almost non-existent, reason why research of new deposits in ever deeper waters should be trying to focus with greater attention to the technological development for the promotion of savings in the use of hydrocarbons.
