| dc.description.abstract | El hallazgo del cloritoide en rocas del Cretácico inferior en el cinturón esmeraldífero occidental, más concretamente en sectores de los municipios de Muzo y Quípama, muestran que estas rocas sufrieron un metamorfismo de grado muy bajo, perteneciente a la facies subesquistos verdes. Por medio de estudios petrográficos se pudo determinar como paragénesis generalizada Illita + Cuarzo + Cloritoide ± Clorita ± Albita ± Pirofilita, lo cual permite ubicar estas rocas en la zona de la clorita. Por medio de estudios de química mineral en la microsonda electrónica se pudo clasificar a este mineral como un cloritoide rico en hierro y usando la composiciíón química de las cloritas, con fines geotermométricos, se determinó una temperatura de 340±15ºC para el pico metamórfico. Evidencias de campo, petrográficas y de química mineral, apuntan a que el evento metamórfico responsable de la formación de los cloritoides, no se corresponde con un evento metamorfismo regional. | dc.description.abstractenglish | The finding of cloritoide on rocks of the inferior Cretacic in the western emerald belt, but concretely in the municipalities of Muzo and Quipama, shows that these rocks underwent a metamorphism of very low degree, pertaining to the facies green subschists. By means of petrography studies could be determined like the generalized paragenesis: Illite + Quartz + Chloritoid ± Chlorita ± Albite ± Pirophilite, which allows to locate these rocks in the chlorite zone. By means of studies of mineral chemistry in the electronic microsounding could be classified to this mineral like a rich cloritoide in iron and using geothermometry of Reches in neoformed cloritas. A temperature of 340±15ºC was determined for the metamorphic tip, evidences of field, petrography and of mineral chemistry, they reveal that these rocks underwent a hydrothermal metamorphism. Evidences of field, petrography and of mineral chemistry, aim at that the metamorphic event responsible for the formation of the chloritoids, does not correspond with an event of regional metamorphism. On the contrary, this event seems to be related to a located thermal event, which only affects the formations Tablazo (K1), Capotes(K1) and Pacho (K1-K2) | |
