dc.description.abstract	El presente trabajo de grado corresponde a las actividades realizadas como auxiliar de ingeniería en la empresa SICA S.A.S, respaldado por la aprobación de la Escuela de Ingeniería Civil de la Universidad Industrial de Santander. Durante este periodo, se pudieron realizar actividades de apoyo en seguimiento al proyecto “RENOVACIÓN Y RESTAURACIÓN DE LAS FACHADAS DEL CONJUNTO RESIDENCIAL PUERTA MAYOR” situado en el municipio de Bucaramanga, el cual contempla la restauración de la totalidad de las fachadas de cada una de las torres del conjunto residencial Puerta Mayor. A lo largo de un periodo de cuatro meses de práctica, se pudo cumplir con éxito todos los objetivos establecidos en el plan de trabajo, ajustándose al cronograma inicialmente propuesto. En el transcurso de este tiempo se realizaron actividades como supervisión y control de cada una de las actividades de obra, entre otras actividades estuvo la elaboración detallada de informes técnicos y verificación del cumplimiento de los estándares de calidad de los materiales y equipos utilizados en obra. Todo esto en apoyo al residente de obra, colaborando estrechamente en la coordinación y ejecución de actividades para asegurar el éxito en el desarrollo del proyecto en cuestión.
dc.description.abstractenglish	This degree work corresponds to the activities carried out as a civil engineering assistant at SICA S.A.S, endorsed by the approval of the School of Civil Engineering at the Industrial University of Santander. During this period, support activities were carried out for the project "RENOVATION AND RESTORATION OF THE FACADES OF THE PUERTA MAYOR RESIDENTIAL COMPLEX" located in the municipality of Bucaramanga, which includes the restoration of all the facades of each of the towers of the Puerta Mayor residential complex. Throughout a four-month internship period, all objectives established in the work plan were successfully achieved, adhering to the initially proposed schedule. During this time, activities such as supervision and control of each construction activity were carried out. Among other tasks, detailed technical reports were prepared, and the compliance of the materials and equipment used in the construction with quality standards was verified. All of this was in support of the site manager, closely collaborating in the coordination and execution of activities to ensure the success of the project's development.
