| dc.description.abstract | La Corporación para la Investigación de la Corrosión (C.I.C.) es un Centro de Desarrollo Tecnológico dedicado a la investigación, asesorías y servicios especializados en corrosión y fenómenos afines. Debido al carácter investigativo ya descrito de sus actividades, la información es un activo de vital importancia para su desempeño y competitividad, así como el contar con las herramientas tecnológicas para su procesamiento y comunicación. Este documento presenta el proceso de desarrollo de un Sistema de Información Intranet en la Corporación para la Investigación de la Corrosión y la implementación de la primera versión del sistema, con el fin de apoyar la gestión de los diferentes procesos que se realizan para cumplir con la misión de la Corporación. Para el desarrollo de este software se aplicó la metodología de prototipado evolutivo, en una arquitectura por capas, usando la tecnología de ASP .Net mediante Visual Studio .Net 2003, accediendo una base de datos SQL Server 2000 en un servidor Windows Server 2003. La combinación de estas tecnologías y herramientas constituyen una plataforma robusta y de desarrollo rápido de aplicaciones para ofrecer contenido disponible, seguro y confiable a los usuarios. | |
| dc.description.abstractenglish | The Corrosion Investigation Corporation (C.I.C.) is a Technological Development Center dedicated to the investigation, consultancy and specialized services in corrosion and compatible phenomena. Due to the investigative character already described of its activities, the information is a vital importance asset for its performance and competitiveness, as well as having the technological tools for its processing and communication. This document presents the process of development of an Intranet Information System in the Corrosion Investigation Corporation and the implementation of the system first version, with the purpose of to support the management of the processes that are made to fulfill the mission of the Corporation. For the development of this software the evolutionary prototype methodology was applied, in layers architecture, using the ASP dot Net technology by means of Visual Studio dot Net 2003, acceding a SQL Server 2000 database in a Windows 2003 Server. The combination of these technologies and tools constitute a robust and rapid development platform to offer available, sure and reliable content to the users. | |
