dc.description.abstract	El desarrollo de las actividades turísticas, representa hoy en día un factor potencial de desarrollo de los territorios, ya que el desempeño de éste implica el despegue de otras actividades económicas que están implícitas en las actividades que lleva a cabo el visitante en busca de satisfacer sus necesidades y deseos. El departamento de Santander, no es ajeno a esta situación, y a través de los nodos provinciales que conforman el territorio, y basándose en la explotación de los recursos naturales con los que cuenta la región, ha venido creando paquetes turísticos a partir de la oferta y la organización turística con que cuentan los diferentes circuitos provinciales. frente a sus competidores por poseer la mayoría de atractivos naturales, culturales e históricos con que cuenta la provincia y además, por tener una ubicación geográfica privilegiada y contar con la presencia de una de las fuentes hídricas más importantes de la región como es el rio Fonce, en el cual se lleva a cabo uno de los mayores atractores de visitantes al departamento y la provincia como es el deporte de aventura en el que se encuentra el rafting o canotaje, deporte que es ofrecido por la mayoría de los municipios que conforman el circuito.
dc.description.abstractenglish	The development of the tourist activities represents today in day a potential factor of development of the territories, since the acting of this implies the take off of other economic activities that you/they are implicit in the activities that it carries out the visitor in search of satisfying its necessities and desires. The department of Santander is not unaware to this situation, and through the provincial nodes that conform the territory, and being based on the exploitation of the natural resources with those that counts the region, has come creating tourist packages starting from the offer and the tourist organization with which they count the different provincial circuits. Under the this provincial context, the circuit of the "Fonce River" it is presented in an advantageous position in front of its competitors to possess most of natural, cultural and historical attractiveness with which it counts the county and also, to have a privileged geographical location and to have the presence of one of the sources hydrias but important of the region like it is the river Fonce, in which is carried out one from the biggest atractores of visitors to the department and the county like it is the adventure sport in which is the rafting or canotaje, sport that it is offered by most of the municipalities that conform the circuit
