dc.description.abstract	La enseñanza tradicional aún permea las aulas hoy y los estudiantes fruto de esto no desarrollan el pensamiento científico en el aprendizaje, la enseñanza de la biología tradicionalmente ha premiado la memorización de contenidos, esto lleva a la búsqueda de alternativas para contribuir al fortalecimiento del pensamiento científico a partir de implementar mini-proyectos como estrategia didáctica para estudiantes de grado séptimo de la institución oficial Villas de San Ignacio en Bucaramanga (Santander), desde la investigación cualitativa de enfoque Investigación-Acción, para lo cual se adelantaron las etapas de diagnóstico, diseño de la propuesta y evaluación de la misma. Durante el desarrollo de la experiencia se estableció la importancia de los mini-proyectos como pequeñas tareas que permiten la aproximación vivencial de los estudiantes a la construcción de conocimiento y el fortalecimiento del pensamiento científico, así como de las competencias científicas. Finalmente, se encontró que trabajar por mini-proyectos despierta la curiosidad, participación y motivación de los estudiantes al relacionar sus conocimientos con las experiencias cotidianas formando un aprendizaje activo y cambiando el rol docente a un co-investigador o facilitador para el proceso académico.
dc.description.abstractenglish	The traditional teaching still permeates the classrooms today and the students as a result of this, do not develop scientific thinking in learning, the teaching of biology has traditionally rewarded the memorization of content, this leads to the search for alternatives to contribute to the strengthening of scientific thinking from implement mini-projects as a didactic strategy for seventh grade students of the official institution Villas of San Ignacio in Bucaramanga (Santander), from the qualitative research of the Research-Action approach, for which the stages of diagnosis, design of the proposal were advanced and evaluation of it. During the development of the experience, the importance of the mini-projects was established as small tasks that allow the students to approach the knowledge construction and the strengthening of the scientific thought, as well as the scientific competences. Finally, it was found that working on mini-projects arouses the curiosity, participation and motivation of the students by relating their knowledge with daily experiences forming an active learning and changing the teaching role to a co-researcher or facilitator for the academic process
