| dc.description.abstract | Actualmente, el crecimiento de la población estudiantil en la Universidad y circunstancias externas que están fueran de control de las directivas como lo son los ceses de actividades, han ocasionado que durante los últimos 3 años los procesos de matriculas se estén llevando a cabo dentro de un intervalo de fechas muy estrecho para cumplir el plan de dos semestres por año. Lo anterior hace que dichos procesos sean muy congestionados y poco eficientes, lo que ocasiona malestar entre los estudiantes. Por lo anterior, la Universidad ha implementado estrategias que permitan la disminución de los tiempos necesarios para el proceso, y que satisfagan las necesidades de la comunidad universitaria en este aspecto. Además, con el propósito de cumplir disposiciones como la agenda de conectividad, la Directiva Presidencial No. 02 de Agosto 28 del 2000 y el plan de gestión institucional de la UIS que contemplan la masificación del uso de las tecnologías de información y la modernización de las entidades publicas y de gobierno haciéndolas más eficientes, se desarrollo SACPRUIS 2.0, un Sistema de Información (SI) ágil, moderno y más amigable al usuario que busca apoyar a la diferentes dependencias que intervienen en los procesos administrativos que asisten a la academia y en general la institución. | |
| dc.description.abstractenglish | At the moment, the growth of the student population at the University and the external circumstances that are out of the directors' control, especially the cease of the normal activities, have affected the academic calendar since, along the last three years, the inscription processes have been carried out in a very close period and in such conditions, it is very difficult to cover two semesters per year. This factor produces very congested and inefficient processes, which brings a bad atmosphere among the students. For these reasons, the university has implemented certain strategies that allow the decreasing of the required time to develop this process, and that satisfy the university community needs related to this aspect. In addition, and with the purpose of achieving dispositions such as the connectivity agenda, the Presidential Directive No. 02, August 28th 2000, and the plan of institutional management UIS which contemplates the intensification of the use of the information technologies and the public and governmental entities modernization, SACPRUIS 2.0 was developed. This is a quick, modern and user-close information system, whose objective is support the different departments that have participation in the administrative processes bound to the academy and the institution in general | |
