dc.description.abstract	En este trabajo se dan a conocer las labores desempeñadas durante el desarrollo de la pasantía de investigación con el grupo de investigación Geomática, gestión y optimización de sistemas, adscrito a la escuela de ingeniería civil de la Universidad Industrial de Santander, brindando apoyo como auxiliar de ingeniería en proyectos pertenecientes a la rama de la movilidad y el transporte adelantados durante el segundo periodo académico del año 2016. Durante el periodo de cuatro meses que conformó la pasantía, se realizaron actividades relacionadas con el levantamiento de información de inventarios viales y encuestas domiciliarias que a su vez estaban compuestas por tareas como el apoyo en la planeación de operativos de campo, la creación e identificación de formularios y la capacitación de personal en conceptos ingenieriles y el uso de dispositivos móviles para el registro de información en campo; todo esto enmarcado en la elaboración del Plan Maestro de Movilidad Urbana del municipio de Socorro del departamento de Santander. Además, se llevaron a cabo aforos vehiculares y peatonales, modelos de micro-simulación, planos de señalización vial y caracterización de las zonas en estudio en cuanto a aspectos de movilidad y transporte enmarcadas de la elaboración del diagnóstico para la formulación del taller del plan maestro de la Universidad Industrial de Santander.
dc.description.abstractenglish	This work presents the work carried out during the development of the research internship with the research group Geomatics, management and optimization of systems, attached to the civil engineering school of the Industrial University of Santander, providing support as an engineering assistant in projects pertaining to the branch of mobility and transport in advance during the second academic period of the year 2016. During the four-month period of the internship, activities related to the lifting of information of road inventories and household surveys were carried out, which in turn were composed of tasks such as support in the planning of field operations, the creation and identification of forms and the training of personnel in engineering concepts and the use of mobile devices for the registration of information in the field;, all this framed in the elaboration of the Master Plan of Urban Mobility of the municipality of Socorro of the department of Santander. In addition, vehicle and pedestrian capacities were carried out, models of micro-simulation, road signaling plans and characterization of the zones in study in terms of mobility and transport aspects framed in the elaboration of the diagnosis for the formulation of the workshop of the master plan of the Industrial University of Santander.
